i would reccomend waiting for next years or even the next years bindings so that they can progress more beofre investing into the reactor binding...i have just heard alot of bad come from them...but if u insist on getting them i would say buy brand new ones...i would never buy used bindings...

All i have to say is they are shit. I broke mine twice, bent the brake many times, and they weigh so much. i was glad to get rid of them when i did.

they are out of production, they selling off what was already made which is no different than last years

do it for yourself and no one else

thats not true^. they improved the line binding from last year by making it a lot stronger. line reactors are awesome

Do you think its worth the 50 to 100 dollars extra to go to a Reactor 12 instead of a 10, by the way i weigh 130 pounds if that mattters

We're not drug dealers we're fund raisers

If you only weigh 130 lbs, you do NOT need a reactor 12. I'm 180 lbs, and I only use a reactor 10, set at 7.

I've never skied them, but in one SINGLE week over Christmas break I saw three pairs break, completely coming apart. Not off huge jumps or anything, one person landing switch off a rail, a tiny tiny 180, and a kid sliding out in the back seat. Each kid was like 14 and the bindings actually completely came apart.

Not only that, but most people I've talked to about them hate them and say they make skis ski worse.

I know the bindings are suppose to be stronger and everything, maybe they will be, but I don't think they will ever be able to touch a s916 or P18.

if you want them get them, best of luck to you, but I personally would never ever put my knees in the hands of those bindings.

you wouldnt put your knees in the safty of the bindings?? it is a completly new idea in the world of skiing and is safer for your knees, give it 2 more years max and they will be the best bindings out

You can't hug with nuclear arms

i would maybe trust it in two yeras when they can actually make it work.

But the people i saw using it and breaking it were doing so in such pathetic situation, like literally 180 5 feet, landing fine, and pushing the heal completely off.

When the bindings stay together they may work, but I don't want my binding just to fall apart when I land. I need something that I can actually trust in situation where if my skis come off I could be pretty fucked up.

It they can't handle little jumps what happen off a big jump in the park or pipe or trying to you them in exposed lines?

So, i guess I not only don't trust my knees in those bindings but my whole body. I like my skis on my feet unless they need to come off, and from what I've seen those bindings do a pretty shitty job at that.

Give them two year. I hope they make them more durable and lighter. Until that binding comes out I'll stick with what I know works.

i guy i work with broke his the first day he used them on the mountain. the next day he traded them for some rossi axials. save yourself the hassle, go with the solid track record. unless you have like 4 pairs of skis and switch out all the time i would say rossi or look

no I don't tele. I'm all alpine. Most of my bindings are race stocks...very far from tele bindings.

I do tour and have a touring set up. Maybe you mistook me talking about AT bindings as tele bindings

Oh...opps.

I think he does both. He seems to try and convert everyone to tele, but I think he alpines as well.

i see how you got confused. personally i think tele is the shit, except for in the park and dicking around. cus when im just messin on jumps and stuff, i dont like tele. mostly a big mountain/pow thing. i mean, how fun could not being able to land switch off jumps be? and if you saw at the beginning, i wanted some for cheap. i just want em to mess around. but i do want some maden's. but yea, tele for pow and big mountain, heel'n for dumb park shit.

AK Pride

i also like tele so i dont have to hike to my pow. although iggyskier has the right idea. touring binders are much more efficient.

AK Pride

yeah dude, hiking sucks compared to skinning.

Particularlly if there is any fresh snow. i hate hate hate post holing. Skinning is faster and more efficient.

that is also true. AT bindings are easier to handle in the BC than Tele bindings.

i want reactors on my line chronics as well, but i am going to get a 05 p10 just becuase they have so much more positive information, and the reactor's information is all mixed. i would get 05 p10 or p12's. i think in 2 years the line binding will be the best binding out there since they will work out all the problems. there are only 2 ppl on the line team now, and both of them insist on riding the binding. line has continued their binding and made upgrades to try and fix the problems from last year. plus the ideas in it are so smart

pollard and battersby BOTH use them you idiot, and yes they're still making them, just not as many

in the newest freeskier (with photos taken from before the team change) coker and becker both look like were still using reactors (they are silver too right?) so i dont know how valid any argument about the team not using them was...i heard that rumor about mike wilson leaving because of them, but i think they would be pretty well adjusted to meet the pros needs, so im sure they all used them.

This is fact: Line are NOT making new bindings this season. They didn't get enough pre-orders from shops to fill the quota needed to make new production financially viable. What you can buy at the moment is LAST YEARS product, and therefore is in no way different to what was available at the end of last season. However, it is CURRENTLY wrong to say that the bindings have been discontinued. At the moment production has just been suspended, and I sure as hell hope it starts again in the future.

yeah thats REAL smart...lets not buy them, so they dont make money so they cant making improvements. Fucking retards.

BUY them...there breakthrough...support them and in a few years they will be supporting you with a solid binding. If it breaks they warrenty is quick anyways

if you want them, go for it. they did make improvements, so buy the new 10s, you don't need the 12 if your only 130. And their pros do ride them, if it's good enough for Pollard, it's good enough for you.
