I want line reactors really bad! and im willing to trade a pair of 914's for them!

im willing to trade my salomon s914'2 for a pair of line reactors. and a pair of freedom plates. let me kno if you are interested or even if you have some to sell.
 
PM xskipublicenemyx, he has 3 bindings for sale as well as 2 reactor plates for $150 all together.

that is probably the sweetest deal ever if youre determined for reactors.

well, not necessarily, how hard do you ski? what do you ski? and what skis do you plan on putting them on?
 
They are a first generation, so they are bound to have some problems. I hear they are too heavy and not too sturdy. I think your best bet is to invest in a really sturdy binding like s916 or rossi fks155/185. It will not be cheap, but they are pretty sturdy.
 
Get them mounted by somebody that knows the slightest thing about bindings, and you'll be set. This is the bindings that the Jibij pro team rides, and they've never broken one.
 
you couldnt pay me to ski reactor bindings. i broke 2 pair in under week without doing anything more then skiing a few lines at alta and solitude. I put my sister on them had the dins cranked to 7 and she still came out just skiing groomers (she cant be over 115)
 
NONONONONONONONONONONO!!!! DO NOT BUY REACTORS! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I humbly suggest you look into a pair of Look p18s, Salomon s916, or a Rossi FKS or similar. These are race stock binders, and so are much more durable, since you have broken a few pairs. The reactor is possibly the worst choice you could make.
 
Most people who come out or break their line bindings set them up themselves with out knowing how. They do this because you dont need a shop to mount them so they never have an actual tech adgust them. The result is offten that they will not fit the boot perfectly. they are eather to tight or to lose. This means the boot is eather constantly applying alot of force on the binding or sliding around in the binding. Not so much that you would notice but enough that it will cause problems.

whatever you do, do not ever purchase a pair of reactors, if you get them for free go right ahead. but the only word that i can find to describe them is "shitty". Last season i bought a pair of chronic's with line bindings to match. i bought them in november and by january something gets messed up inside them and i can't even ski without them falling off. so i took them back and the guy gave me another pair on warranty. I ski'd the binding for about a month and half way through februaury the toe piece started sliding, so i just moved the binding as far forward as they couldn't move anywheres. The next season i bought a new pair of AR5's with look bindings, and got another free pair of reactors. And the very first day i ride the reactors on my old chronics i do a 5 over a table, then ski over and grease the kink rail and come out backwards and the heel peice ripped right out of the suspension frame. So my advice is if you dont want to have any hassles, invest in a better company's binding.
