There is no real accomodations near the mall of Dubai. If you are just passing through and have time it's kind of neat. Though definitely not a destination. Dubai is the kind of place that's cool if you're a millionaire. Otherwise it's not that great.

I have spent 6 different weekends in Dubai, and never found it to be that great. Because I'm not a millionaire.
