I vote Yay for text votes!

You contradict yourself so much. That right there is style the only thing to add to quality grab and landing is a nice slow rotation.

Im pretty sure if simons double was the sloppiest thing ever thrown on skis he would have still one. Im not to sure that its the fact that it is because they are American I think it is just bigger names that get hyped a lot.

Also no tricks should be alowd before the jumb except for a revert.

I agree with most of your. this sucks for a really technical comp. but on the plus side. it gives our sport more light. makes people like us more, look at us. so in a sense it does progress the sport as much as a switch 12 grabbed.

Big Air at Xgames 13 was not flawed. It was a BIG air contest and the voting system was solid. What fuct everything up was having the gap jump too close to the money booter on the slope course. Made it to hard to get set for, "spin to win" "the money."

yo KillerMonkey. i got a feel for what your saying although i can understand how the majority of the newschoolers community may not understand the different angle that you're taking with your point of view
let me put it this way
this event should not be valued by those who have any involement in the world of freeskiing, the format was based on text voting and for that reason alone, it is stupid to argue about the winner of this event
the x-games big-air was an event, not a competition
the fact that our sport was show cased to such a significant number of people that night through public television is amazing and i'm sure those who voted enjoyed having a say in deciding the winner of this event
with that said. this event was judged by the public and was based on the trick "they" liked the most
i think that this was good since although it should not be valued as a big air competition, it was a public spectacle that may allow us to understand how the general public interprets our sport..

jah blaze.
