I vote new moderators!

just one more would be fine, i have never met him but he seems like a really nice person and helps out alot. Contributes alot to and is on constatntly
 
You have a valid reasoning for wanting nomensteven to be a mod, but do you really see any point of it? I mean the mods we currently have are plenty and they do fine.
 
We do take member nominations into consideration when adding new mods but right now there doesn't seem to be a need to add more.

Who knows what the winter will hold though :P
 
Ahh the one liner with so much anticipation.

I think they're should be a page called "Meet the Mods" where they have they're own photo and profile.. Actually, that basically already invited. /endidea
 
I haven't seen a reason to need any new mods. But like Ryno said, winter is around the corner. And I'd vote someone like Rowen or Silence before nomen. No offense to you nomen.
 
agreed. both would make great mods. but as is being said, I think things are ok at the current time.
 
i would pull so fucking many shenanigans as a mod. haha that would make this site so much funner!
 
I thought he should have been a mod agest ago. That guy is legit.

Plus.. NS would probably benefit from the presence down under... it would DEFINITELY help to moderate at like.. 2-8am or so, when we are all sleeping here in North America..

maybe it's just me, but i have always thought rowen would be an awesome mod. i like the guy. no homo. silence would be good too cause he could moderate when the other mods are sleeping.

i don't think we need new mods now though, although i could be wrong. if we did, they'd have my vote.

last time we got mods, did we do some kind of a voting type thing? i can't remember but if we didn't i think it'd be a good idea. get finalists and then let the people of NS decide. or let the NS people pick like 5 finalists and the admins/mods decide?
 
Yeah, it was in april. people sent in inquaries as to why they should be a mod...

the guys at NS all voted on it, and now iggyskier and... somebody else, i cant remember who, became mods.
 
yeah i remember the whole sending in why you should be a mod. i couldn't remember if the members got any say though.

and i thought it was iggyskier, ski unit and papasteeze?

maybe not though.
 
I know for sure that papa and iggy were part of it...

dont know about ski unit. I think he might have been one before?
 
papasteeze, ski_unit_19, iggyskier, and I became mods at the same time, on recommendation from already existing mods. I didn't submit an application or anything, let the record show they asked me.
 
I agree with Rowen for mod - one of the nicest guys ever. Only ever contributes quality, too.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to whether or not there is a need for extra moderation.

Kinda funny too, whats the youngest mod we've ever had? 18?
