I uh, got some bad news?

I'd like to add to the end of your post "make the world a cleaner place for all life.... regardless of which side of the argument is right".

It's crazy to go through and read all the posts from 2005 and see that 90% of people automatically denied that global warming exists and now in 2013 seeing that so many people are aware that it exists and that something needs to be done. I guess we're headed in the right direction

Except it doesnt exist. So that means the only thing thats changed is there are now more liberals than in 2005. Aint reallly hard to piece together

Earth is uh...........65 million years old?

Humans are.......uh 10k or so yrs old?

One meteor...........civilization destroyed......etc etc.

No wonder people made religion, cause when it comes to the galaxy (not even the universe) We are just a speck. Don't wanna feel insignificant now huh :P

'

Sorry, Key Light is speaking.

Earth is 65 million years old? If you're older than 12 you must have dropped out of school, or if not, I really want to hear where you go to school :)

I blame the lack of pirates.

Your claim about volcanoes is kind of BS. Annual Co2 emission from China per day is 19,265,523 metric tonnes while the average volcano is 8,000 to 30,000 metric tonnes. So while volcanes may be a bit of a factor (

Who gives 2 shits? I'll be dead, you'll probably be dead and your children will probably be dead. At least I don't have to worry about my grandchildren being gapers. amirite?

I really don't care... as long as i have my winter here now, i'd be happy. If shits going to hit the fan in 100+ years why would i care?

Even if we lose our winters(which i believe ) or not , human race treats its natural inhabitance like shit and this is guaranteed throughout our historical evidence.People exploit natural resources to the limits since all of their microsocieties. Cavemen used to hunt mammoths by chasing them up to a cliff, the whole herd was killed however the cavemen ate one or two animals so mammoths were extinct! Humans could be just one more species which destructed itself. No big deal...The planet exist for millions of years and it will for another...we are just grains of sand, folks.Mountains and skiing the mountains is one of those things which make you understant that and feel part of the bigger picture than part of our little selves.

P.S. I don't want to be misunderstood, of course i am pro to a more ecological way of life, but i know i do it for myself, and not for the enviroment or the planet.I am just cleaning my own mess!

Grains of sands?

Last time I checked one grain of sand couldn't destroy an entire planet in the blink of an eye, but mankind's understanding of physics enabled us to easily to that. Thinking that technology and its evolution won't have an effect on nature is just another excuse for saying "it doesn't matter what I do anyway..."

How can a planet be destroyed in a blink of an eye?? I assume you refer to something like a nuclear holocaust, however nuclear weapons can't destroy any planet they can just destroy just us....Vegeta or Freeza could destroy an entire planet in a blink of an eye. No manmade weapons. And even if Vegeta or Freeza destroyed the planet we could then gather the Dragonballs and wish the earth back! Actually this might be the answer to the initial problem ! Let's gather the Dragonballs to bring back Winter!

I'd say extinguishing all live except some insects maybe is pretty much "destroying" a planet although the planet itself is still there. I think people just don't get the scale we draw resources from earth and generally shape our whole environment as we do. Saying that it all doesn't matter and we simply destroy ourself is a good reason for people to carry on with everything as is.

I respect that you quoted George Carlin but I don't respect that you have no idea what you're talking about. THen you added Dragonballs into the equation and lost the Carlin respect too. Technology is our bain, but it will and is also our savior from the situation as well.

Dudes just read my ps. Of course i believe that all of us should respect the enviroment that gives us the chance to live and experience and i also believe that all of us in this specific community should appreciate it even more because from it we extract pleasure! But we are doing it for us, not for saving planets or protectin' enviroments that existed long before us and will exist long after us.Just my opinion. The Dragonball thing was a joke and i lost your respect for this??Vegeta and Freeza would be totally pissed!!!Seriousness level over 9000 :- ) PEACE

The Dragon Ball Z was just the kicker. I'll give you the pass on the lack of grammar because your profile says you're from Greece. However, that still doesn't change the fact that you either don't know what you're talking about, or just don't know how to express it in English.

Dude i can't believe your a pro and need to burn fossil fuels in the a star to slay the ak sick gnarsmy old man skibum hippy turn earnin ass is so more saving the environment than you.
