I tunes + vista = gay

so i just downloaded the ski movies from itunes and when they got done downloading i whent to play them and all that would happen is the adio would play but the video would skip and only play for about 2-3 seconds at a time. this is fucking gay because i wanted to see these movies but i cant now becase of goddam itunes and vista
 
does your computer have problems playing back stuff in quicktime in general?

download VLC and try opening it in that
 
no my computer dosent have problems playing stuff in quick time it is just i tunes that is the only program it has problems with

 
VLC won't be able to play movies downloaded from iTunes because of the DRM. Try closing other programs and shit to make sure its just not your computer sucking ass.
 
i hate vista i got my friend to send me a burned xp disc today

i just have to find a key and i can get rid of it once and for all
 
yeah, thats logical

dont try and figure anything out. when something doesn't work just go buy a brand new computer every time.
 
find an mp4 codec, whether you need to buy one, or 'acquire' it. also, vista is a piece of garbage, but i'd assume you've already found that out. my comp running windows xp is bad enough. your video probably doesnt work just because vista uses such a rediculous amount of system resources just to run.

to the thread creator turn uac and aero off it should help a lot with speed that might help with playback also i guess

 
Dear everybody,

iTunes videos have DRM on them to prevent them from being copied and played on other computers. This means that you can only play them using iTunes or Quicktime. Odds are good your computer is just being slow. Try quitting some processes. (Ctrl alt delete). Please stop telling him to download a codec. This would never solve the problem of a laggy video. If you can hear sound and see the video then the codec isn't the problem.

this guys right...like i said above turn aero off itll help a lot

before i was running 60% with no apps open...u turned it off im running 4% now

no no i have a brand new laptop with vista and i tunes wont work at all

an it has 2gb of ram

2 1.7ghz processors

and i tunes will not work at all, when you import music to the library it freezes up and crashes my comp

let me sum it up VISTA BLOWS!!!!!!!!

windows XP>vista
 
ijust got it two weeks ago it should easily run the movies but it is just itunes being gay cause it dosent skip any movies in any other program i use
