demo bindings are the same thing as regular bidings, just mounted on a track for a wide range of boot sizes.

Im pretty sure you can take the toes off, however they will be somewhat mangled.

You CAN NOT take the heels off. The demo track is intigrated into the standard track you would find on normal P12's.

Also, demo bindings are heavier, less durrable, and dont have the same amount of forward pressure as regular bindings. They are made to shift to accomodate many boot sizes, not for free style skiing.

I would keep an eye out on ebay, check some shops, make a thread on NS looking for some p12's before even concidoring buying those.

I had some demo p10's a couple years ago, they worked fine for me, notheing special, but they weren't terrible.
