I think there is a black widow in my bathroom

i dont get it...when i was a kid i loved spiders. i used to pick them up and let them walk on me..even the bigger juicier spiders...and now i hate them
 
ULTIMATE SPIDER STORY

When Me, my dad and same friends were backpacking in Arizona (i live in Michigan) we had to hid out in a bathroom one night because there was a hailstorm. Well While there was about 10 of us in the bathroom, my dad got bit by a brown recluse spider on his heel. They are suppose to be extremely deadly, and we had about 4 days left of backpacking. My dad thought it was a blister. At the end of the trip my dad could barely walk on it. As soon as we got back to base camp he went to the first aid station. When they saw the bite they were surprised he didn't die. Once we got back to our house. He started to notice he was getting a hole in his foot. In a week or so, it was the size of a half dollar coin, and about an inch deep. It was so sick. It was always oozing and shit. After about a month it went away. I guess the venom says in your body and messing with your system for a while. So about a month later he the same thing happen just above his kneecap. This all happened in 2002. Now everything is cool, no scars no nothing. But as for my dad, he had to sit on a conch for 6 months which would get really borring. This is about it for the ultimate spider story.
 
it wasnt a widow, it had a red CIRCLE not the hourglass. I ended up dying from lack of o2 in the jar i trapped it in. currled up in a little ball. it now lays to rest in the toilet.
 
Well a couple year ago in the Outer Banks NC, we were on the beach and a black widow crawled out from underneath my brother's beach towel about 2 inches from his foot. And yes, a pic to prove it:

are you sure it was dead? because you dont want that thing crawling back up. i wouldnt really want my ass looking like that guys hand
 
Holy Mother Fucking Shit!!!!!! Could you imagine if you were sleeping and that thing crawled on you and woke you up. Fuck I would die of a heart attack.

Appearance and abilities

The size of the spider is up till 12 cm / 4 inches. The strength of its chelicerae's makes it dangerous since the mechanical effect of a bite will cause a huge wound which will be subject to all kind of infections caused by bacteria. The spider is very fast and can run at the same speed as humans. Several soldier has felt that they were attacked by the spider, but this has probably not been the spiders intention, since it only attacks prey smaller than itself.

The bizarre look in conjunction with their speed of movement has made them more feared than necessary, although some caution is required for soldier in the desert as well as the local Iraqi population.

The spider produces a hissing sound when approached and has quite powerful claws, it's no wonder that people gets frightened when encountering a camel spider.

This picture of a camel spider found in a sleeping bag has been around on the internet for a long time. If you look closer there's actually 2 spiders and the photographer has made the photo in a way so the spiders looks larger than they really are.
 
Seeing as how none (or at least very few) of the NS community live in south america, I think the widow and the recluse are the ones most should be worried about.
