i smashed my head on the water on the diving boards today and ever since my ear has been sort of twitching. im thinking i blew my eardrum... i think ive done it wakeboarding a couple times too... tis an odd sensation.

I blew one of mine last winter of a divingboard, i sounds weird and i you hold you nose and try to blow it, water and air will come out of you ear.

 
i did that & my eardrum started to bleed. it was quality fun

what did the whales ever do for us?
 
i got fluid behind my eardrum and a day before the surgery to put a tube in to drain it i got really sick, so i didnt have. one week later i was supposed to have the surgery and then it got infected(it really hurt, it was pounding all night)and then blew, so hence, i couldnt have it. a week later i had the surgery

i bet thats whats wrong with mine, i got punched in the ear a month ago and havent been able to hear proprly for a while, im thinkin i should go to the clinic...

yeah i had a middle ear infection last month and the puss builds up behind the ear drum and it hurts afucking lot. then it blows if its bad enough

when i was just over a year old, i stuck a little tiny metal stud in my ear. it worked it's way all the way to my ear drum where it made a hole. it wasnt removed until i was like 4, so it was in there for quite some time. when i was 6 i had my ear drum patched up because a hole in your eardrum can lead to permanet hearing loss. im 10% deaf in that ear now

my mom had her left eardrum blow a few years back. she said it sounded like a gunshot going off and then a really sharp pain. she was in severe pain for a week after. so id say quit bein a sally and listen to some SLAYER!!! at max volume.

yea a few years ago my friend slapped my ear wicked hard and it rang for like a month straight. and i could breath out of it and shit.

and right now my ears are ringin pretty damn hard from my drums

if you blow out your eardrum you really should get it patched. you can become partially or totally deaf if you dont

You can blow your eardrum more than once it heals, i dedn't get mine patched and it worked out fine. just keep your ear warm and dry.
