Bogus Basin will open for the 2009-10 winter season Thursday, December

17, 2009. Chairlifts 1, 2, 4, 7 and Easy Rider will run. Operating

hours for Thursday and Friday will be: 10:00am-4:30 pm. “We hope to

add the Bitterroot Basin to the mix on Saturday,” said Steve Shake,

V.P. mountain operations. “We’ll open more of the mountain, including

night skiing and riding, as we receive more snow.” As the area

receives more snow the potential for the entire mountain to open—is

good.

Lift ticket prices will be discounted until a

full-mountain opening. No other discount (including the Jacksons Ski 4

Less discount program) will be valid during this early opening.

At Greenwoods every year they have the contest to guess when bogus opens...I guessed it would open this thursday within the first few days they had it out. How do they determine the winner if there are several entries guessing that day?
