I've really narrowed down which skis I want, I I've found deals on them. I just can't decide and don't have the opportunity to demo any of them. I want something I can take anywhere, especially crud, variable condish, and pow. Less park. I'm abou 135lbs and ski CO. Here's what I'm having trouble with:

Rossi S3: $300 new

Surface OneLife: $300 new

Armada JJ: $385 new, I've also found good deals on used.

I'm worried that the S3 is too soft, and heard the OL are really stiff. The JJ's are sick but more $$

I ride the One Life, and absolutely loved them. I bought them thinking that they would just be my pow ski, but overtime they have turned into the only ski that I ride. I take them everywhere from park, pow, moguls, groomers, and to even urban. In essence a perfect one quiver ski. Don't let them being a stiff ward you off because with the rocker they are still plenty playful. The stiffness really supports you though, and they won't ever give out on you when sending a cliff, a jump, or shooting a fast line. I'll mention that i'm 6'1 185 riding a 189 for reference. I have never ridden an S3 or a JJ so I couldn't tell you how they compare when riding.
 
JJs. They are so amazing. I've never ridden the S3, or the One Life, but apparently Surface skis don't hold up well. Idk though.
 
One Life's are 1 pound 3 ounces per ski unmounted, size 189.

I am in love with them given their performance, and since they are so light....I have sex with them every night.

 
where did you find JJ's for that price?

i'd buy them if they were a little longer, but they might be good for you
 
Yeah that's pretty true. One pair of mine lasted for a good season and a half of pure park skiing, and other's have lasted like a half a season of pow and park until breaking down.
 
Well I don't think I'll be getting S3's, just not fat enough and alot of people way they feel kinda damp.

I think I'm going to go with OneLife's and hopefully destroy some shit on them.
 
If I didn't already say it....
S3's were not in the same category.
You would be comparing the S7 vs One Life vs JJ, and maybe even the Live Life

S3's would be like the ski you take out when there just isn't enough snow to justify the One Life.
But honestly I love the One Life's in everything.
