Yeah im back with line after a year off, and im here to stay hopefully. K2 is about the most core compainy u can get that still sells other types of skis tho. THey just realize their is a market biggger than freeskiing. If they didn't have that market for the whole skiing spectrum, their Freestle skis would have that much less funding,and probably wouldn't be as sweet

K2 is the shit, i love them. But think about this, some core companies still have ties to bigger companies because its hard for them to survive in a relatively small market. like armada has elan make its skis, its just a financial thing. But just because you buy core doesnt necessarly mean that bigger companies arent getting your money. there are some core companies that do all their stuff independently, though.

i know 4frnt is all rider owned and run. THATS core, now Armada has about numeriouse investors including its biggest they guy who owns cool water, not core. buying armada is suporting big corpoation as much as buying salomon or K2, just in a different way.

i dont care who is making my skis as long as they work. but really i respect some companys more than others. but its not like any of the 4frnt riders will ever see me like representing their product and like give me money. unless you live where like HQ is i dont see the difference.

Just because the salomon worker wasnt blessed with a college education, and has to work in a factory, doesn't meanthat you cant support him. He could hate making Salomon skis, but theresmoney working for a lsrger corporation. Maybe he has his own aspirati ons to create 5FRNT.
