I snapped my Moment Reno Jibs...

423270.jpeg

been doing urban and park on my pb n j's and they've been fine.

^^what year and type of skis are those? they look old. i've snapped k2 disorderlys after less than a year and they didn't warranty them cause they called it "impact damage"...as opposed to them spontaneously snapping i guess?

Moment has reviewed my case and came to the conclusion that they will be providing me with next years PB&J's! No words can explain how pleased I am with Moment, their customer service was top notch, spoke to Casey and he pretty much catered to my needs. Moment effin rocks.

yea mine broke because of an impact, my one year warranty was up, even tho impacts are covered, but Moment still hooked it up with some 2013 PBJs

this, that pic you posted on the first page that was not yours was my ski, moment was super nice about it and hooked me up with next years jib!

Moment were brilliant when I had to handle a warranty issue with them all the way from the UK. Sorted me out with skis and paid the shipping even though the cause of the fault was probably my shop. One of the best brands out there.

I honestly have rode my moments 10 times and they were beat to shit. I honestly do not recommend moments at all. My opinion.

I go through 2 pairs of skis a year,

every year for the last 4-5 years

before i rode moments (i'd ride line,k2,4frnt,or armadas) i would go through 2 pairs a year,

is this because of any problems with moment (line,k2,4frnt,or armadas)?

no

it's because i beat up skis.

do i blame it on the skis?

no.

should people blame gear damage on the product?

when its first drop, yes,

usually no though

not directed towards anyone in this thread at all,

just a general consensus towards peoples views on durability.

you blame it on first drop cause their quality sucks. people blame moment because their quality sucks. sure park skis snap, but moments arent as durable as other park skis

"my skis broke after I landed shitty and smashed them up on metal pipes!"

OMG MOMENT I NEED NEW SKIS !!!!1111!!!

My Moment Reno Jibs held up for two years and I beat the crap out of them, they are durable in my experience.

By selling other brands of skis? Moments aren't the only skis in the world. See they carry moments cause they know people in Reno want them since moments are a local company. That doesn't mean they have to recommend them.

i've ridden urban, first on rockers and now on vices, for the past 3 seasons and want to know how many skis i've broken? two. one on the gap to rail that i overshot and thought i broke my back in edmonton from after dark, and another on a feature this season that i am not going to talk about. both times, there was not a doubt in my mind that the ski should have broken. that being said, over the past three years there have been multiple occasions that i've said "holy shit, i can't believe my ski didn't fucking snap." that is my testament to moment's quality.

they aren't 2x4's under your feet. skis break, and 95% of the time it's how you fall, whether you like to believe it or not.

I dunno what all you kids are talking about but I have two pairs of moments and they have held up great for me. My planks are still going strong on their third season, only a few core shots and slight topsheet delam. Nothing a little epoxy and ptex can't fix.

i skied the master minds and landed so back seat that the tail of the skis went about a foot into the snow and they didnt snap. and thats a 330 dollar ski.......

but. no one can talk crap about the company. that ski could be amazing but there could have been a factory flaw. i can infer that this is the reason that some people say that they suck and some people say the they are amazing.
