vanular is the new travis heed, only hes that steezy with cab 10s. didnt think it was as good as shanghai, neither was the music. still a good movie though
 
shanghai had a pretty shitty soundtrack so hopefully we have opposite tastes in music... god just thinking about that song BBBBBBLLLLLLUUUUUUUEEEEEEE SSSSSSSSKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIEEEEEESSSSSS just makes me want to kill myself
 
every song in that movie was sweet except that peice of screeching shit. holy, i hated that song sooooo much.
 
i just saw that shit too. corey vanular is a freak of nature. plus cedric throws down some of the sickest urbans ive seen.
 
word to chronic, that movie was straight illin....and the editing was sick too, especially the assembly that served as the intro segments for the riders.

he's in the movie a lot and definitely kills it. im forgetting right now if he had a full segment but i dont think so.
 
Yeah I saw that shit last night at the boulder theater. Fucking dope. The setup with the 3 huge barrels was so sick!!!
 
im sorry but i have no idea how you could possibly like that song. i would be pissed if i was a skier in that segment because all my hard work would go out the window when my segment got the automatice skip by everybody because the seggy had the worst song ever constructed
 
LSS/Level 1 is a step above. Great flow, unreal editing and cinimatography.

The intro/between segment transition is CRAZY...just wait and see.

Mellow segments with great music then straight into hard hitting seggys (Steele/Travis, Keystone & Liam/Shea) with hard hittin songs.

Travis/Steele is the best shared segment I have ever seen, they work so well together and got great 2 person shots.

Japan segment is so well done, so chill, you get a great vibe of the trip.

Stefan Thomas has one of the best back country segments ever put together, his style owns.

JD just has a few shots, (shares seggy with J.F. and Ced, and they pretty much own that seg)one is in the trailer I believe urban dub kink switch up. Some other stuff is from Keystone, sick 810 I think to the "Corey Box." Maybe one transfer gap shot...
 
i have to say dude, LSS was the best movie i've seen so far. that includes push, ski porn, corduroy, screenplay, and skimatic.
 
the boulder premier was siiiick, but why has no one mentioned the fact that Liam absolutely destroys the fuck out of everrryyyything? damn. such an ill segment, with a cameo from Shea. woo!
 
CEDRIC's part is fucking insane. INSANE. he's amazing at urban, best urban ive ever seen. I liked Tim Russell's part a lot too. and Liams part is ill. Vanular's part is really short tho... And i dont quite remember but I think it was filmed entirely at the keystone park with no outside shots at all. That was my biggest let down. I was really hoping vanular would have a full segment. He threw down so hard tho, I think he did cab 10 mute to japan or something but I was kinda drunk at this point so maybe I was seeing things...
 
J-F pretty much owned every "f-word" rail he filmed with Berman. It made me hold my head in disbelief. I had trouble doing that triple kink and first thing you know, Jf is stomping an unnat railside to switch up like it'sanother day at work.

anyway thanks for the props I'm so happy you guyz iked it and so proud of being part of an all quecebecer urban segment.
 
OK so i saw long story short at the premier, and i have to preface this with the fact that level 1 is easly my favorite production company. But i hated Lss. The music was bad, the movie was very, very hectic to me. Ill admit the skiing was amazing, but like the camera angles, locations, and music were in my opinon not up to par at all. The only good overall part in the movie was vanular. his skiing was amazing, and berman actually made his segmant good... Unlike everyone elses.

Long Story Short, i was severly dissapointed in Long Story Short
 
unfortunately im going to have to agree with you. there were some really sick segments like i mentioned before, but overall I wasnt that impressed, the hype that lss got was unbelivable and it didnt live up to the hype.
 
bllllllueeeeeeeeeeee skiieeesssssssss is fuckin' nig-bombs! (=epic for those of you not in the know) tori amos fuckin kills it. i grew up on that shit

saw it last night and I think it's better than ski porn fo sho, I like how they didn't repetetively hit the same jumps and rails with the same tricks and when they did it was done well the music was pretty good I didn't really dig travis and steeles song but I'd definently but this movie oh and the machine thing that was like the theme was funny and sweet at the same time buy this movie!
