I saw a yellow lab puppy get hit today

I wanted to cry It didn't die after going to through the wheels of a tractor trailer. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
 
shit that would suck. i love dogs and i hate it whenever something dies. its just so sad and you just keep thinking of it
 
dude, in the last two days i have almost hit a possum, a babyyyyy kitten and i did hit a squirell, but almost hitting the baby kitty was so sketch, the thing was like the size of my shoe.

and we put the squirell on a kids windshield.

but yeah, cute things dying is weak bro.
 
I'm assuming the semi was moving pretty fast, too fast to dodge a puppy that some irresponsible owner let off the leash near traffic. It's almost never the drivers fault when an animal gets hit, if you're letting your dog run freely around cars then it's your fault when they get hit.
 
oh man i feel you.. I ocne saw a bus hit a huuuuuuuge old mother goose and it wasnt dead afterwards. ao of course it was reallly badly hurt. I felt sooo fucked up for like 2 days. basically ruined my entire day. I think watching something like that happen a puppy dog would be even more devastating.
 
my cousins have a yellow lab... i love that dog so much. i really love dogs all in all and seeing that would have def made me cry.
 
a few years ago i was driving around with a buddy and we turned a corner and seen a golden retriever sitting on the sidewalk. as we going towards him he ran out on the street and head butted my passengers door and dented it. he actually tried to bite it but hit the top of his head. he didnt go under the tire and was fine after. he just took a few flips then ran back into his yard
 
dude we saw a little puppy get hit like 2 months ago and we pulled off the road with the dude who hit it and it was still like twitching and shit it was so sad. i teared up...
 
On my friends 10th birthday his dog got run over right when all the guests were leaving. That is by far the worst way for it to happen
 
i ran over a cat once and squished its head. it was fucking stink. a dude at my school also chucked his shoe at a big bird thinking it would be funny, but he hit it and snapt its wing and leg and the bird was trying to fly but couldnt move so this other dude went up and snapt its neck. raw shit
 
dude 2 of my dogs have been smoked by cars, luckily i still have one of em but to this story

i have to laugh im sorry.
 
i'm so sorry you had to see that. i would probably have killed myself if i saw a puppy get hit....seeing my neighbor's cat get hit was bad enough.

damn dude you're a cold mother. WHy do you even have dogs if you're not gona take care of them and then you laugh when another dog gets run over
 
Are you serious? It's easier to keep an eye on your dog, or put it on a leash than it is for a 18 wheeled vehicle to stomp instantaneously.

It's no ones fault... but it IS sad. i wanted to cry.

That's terrible though. I can empathise. I have a miniature pinscher, and he got hit by some dude who was smashed out of his mind, right in front of my house. I started balling, because I thought he died on impact, but he lived, and the vet said he was lucky to be alive, especially considering he got hit by a truck going 50 km/hr. He was still a puppy, so his bones were soft and bent around his innards, absorbing the shock. If he was older, there was potential for bones to snap and puncture organs. But he survived, and he's still charging hard 1 year later. Full recovery.

damn that sucks, one time i was following my buddy home from work, we were doing like 50 and he dodged a bunny, but i thought he was fucking aropund and i nailed it, i felt like shit for a while.
 
Well, my dog may be an exception to your theory.

A few days ago my dog was in the front yard with my dad, working in the garden.

My dog is a really well trained, obediant and listens easy, just as some background info.

Anyways, my dog sees another dog across the street and goes to play with it, this is the only times it ever happens, is when it sees another dog it takes off.

All of a sudden an SUV comes barreling down the road going at least 35 in a 15.

Everybody thought my dog was dead, but the SUV swerved just in time.
 
exactly, road kill is usually the drivers fault. they shouldnt be driving so damn fast and look infront of them.
 
that is so sad. just reading it makes me upset. i cant even imagine having to see something like that happen. i feel for ya man.
 
Hey, fuck you, it was a joke. I love dogs, i watched one of my dogs die while trying to give birth.

Im sorry, it was a cruel, cruel joke. I love dogs, I have 2 (had 4). One of them was trying to give birth and it died from internal bleeding. Yes it was verys depressing. Not only had my dog died but also had the poor puppies it was carrying. I wittnessed this, one moment she was breathing fine, then she stopped breathing, dropped her head, and her eyes went blank.
