I saw a man kill himself

I didn't see him to it, but I arrived only a few seconds after he killed himself. I was in the Toronto subway going home after a good day of climbing with my buddy. We heard the train passing by as we walk of the stairs. When we saw the train was stopped and the power was turned off. I heard a person say:"is that someone under the train?" It was, the guy was caught under the train, blood spilling from his body. One person beside me told me they saw him jump in front of the train. Then the body started to move, twitching and stuff. Then, we were ordered to leave the scene. The subway system was shut down for an hour.

It was pretty fucked up. It turned out, the guy survived to be loaded in the ambulance. From there on I dont know if he lived.

when i was in italy we were on this tour bus driving to milan and we had to stop because a guy was gonna jump off of an overpass in front of us...they managed to talk him down but it was scary. idk if he even would have died though it was only like a 40 foot drop

A good deal of people how jump in front of trains live. Sure they lose like an arm or something, but they live. My buddys dad works for MTA and he's like "yeah once you see one body youv seen all of them. Pretty soon your like dammit, I just got off my shift and this bastard had to go and bleed all over the tracks!"

ya dude...

in the summer i was on the university line headin south from lawrence...at st. clair west station

some dude jumped ... we were stuck on the powerless train for over an hour!

it was in the middle of the summer...and was so hot in the crowded train...i was wearing a full suit because of a job interview too. People were freaking out...some random blue collar dude was flipping out...screamin about how he had stomach problems and had to shit. haha

apparenlty there are a lot of subway suicides @ st. clair west station cuz the trains go by so quickly.

That's fuct u saw the body twitchin... what station?

^ welcome to toronto!

This past saturday a 40 year old man was shot in the head around the corner from my apartment.

These 2 dudes got kicked out of the Brass Rail ... a shady strip club ... they were pissed so they opened fire on the bouncer... but killed an innocent bystander instead.

maybe im going to sound a little insensitive but i reckon the guy was pitty selfish to jump, hes not only putting his own life on the line, but the driver of the train could possibly have being injured or even killed, and no doubt he'd be metally scared. I know i'd always remember a guy jumping out in front of a train you were drving, and thats something hes gonna have to live with now

oh shit me too.

downtown seattle, probably 6 years ago, we were on a field trip and the entire right side of the bus saw a man jump to his death from a 20 story building. i was on the left side and didnt see him jump or land, but afterwards someone told me that he bounced like 2 feet in the air. after he landed everyone rushed over to the other window side, because he landed probably only 30 feet away on the sidewalk. i won't forget what i saw for a long time. his head looked partially caved in, like a cylinder had been impressed through his skull and there was blood everywhere, flowing down the sidewalk. it was so messed up

I thought subways were automated? (I really don't know i don't live anywhere near a city that ahs one, but I just thought tehy were for some reason)

I've seen one dead person in my life other than in a casket, we were in Italy at a port and our bus drove by a big crowd of people and there was a dude on the ground who looked like he got hit by a transport truck, we drove by when someone but a blanket over his face. Very weird seeing a lifeless body that was probably alive minutes beforehand.

Before I left N.H. to go to school in Gunnison I was hiking up Mt. Washington to ski Tucks and I heard this crazy sound like something metal scraping roks. It turnrd out to be a snowcat, which was strange because I didn't think motorized vehicles were allowed to operate up there. As it rolled by I looked in the back and saw this girl hooked up to an I.V. WhenI reached the hut I was informed that she had fallen hiking and slid into a stream flowing under the snow. Apparently she was dead when I saw her. They are required to hook you up to oxygen and shit before you are officially declared dead. That shit happens all the time up there, usually folks from Mass.that have no idea what they are getting into, unfortunate.

one time my moms co workers were on break down by the railyard on 1st street in north vancouver and this guy was trying to get across the tracks and his foot got caught in one of the links and the train started and i think it was a compilation of him getting ground to death by the track and being ran over.... ya my moms co workers were mortified.

there was a suicide at lawrence station jan 10th around 10am, luckily i got a drive to my dentist that is just north of yonge, but they still weren't done scraping the body of the tracks till about 1:30. had to wait for 3 buses, can you believe that shit!!!

heard a story of another girl who was coming home from western and drove to a highway overpass, got out, left her car running and door open and threw herself on to the 401. pretty asshole way to kill yourself though, endangering others...

anyone notice at sheppard station that the subway always comes in really slow? must be notorious for that stuff.

i was at the base of my home hill and i watched a guy hit a jump and overshoot by about forty feet.....i took the first lift up and when i got there he was twitching and shit. next thing i know theres like twenty patrollers working on him.....so i'm still there and i see the twitching stop and a few people turn away.....thats when he died, it was so fucked up. he was amish too.

When I was younger, about 12 or so, a man committed suicide off this bridge (pretty high) that my house is next to. We didn't find out until the next morning. You could see where on the pavement he hit. Blood all over. Pretty gross.

I think I saw my grandpa when he was pretty much dead. My whole family was staying in our condo on our hill because we were finishing up 2 chalets. He had a heart attack and my uncle and step dad were giving him CPR or whatever. Really sucked but I think he was in a lot of pain the few months before his death.

Thats like something that happened to my dad. He was at Tucks like 15-20 years ago. He was at the lunch rocks or something and he saw this guy standing below these rocks up in the bowl, then he just disappeared. He hiked up and the guy had fallen about 15-20 feet and was standing in this under the snow stream. My dad told the rescue guys because no one else saw what happened and they saved him.

A couple months later my dad sat next to this guy on a park bench not near Tucks at all and they started talking about skiing then Tuckermans and the guy said that he had had a bad experience of falling into an under snow stream. Turns out it was the same guy that my dad had rescued.

when i was in toronto my dad met up with us and told us that a lady had fallen off a skyscrapper and on her way down knicked the side of a building. blood was dripping off the building and she was on the ground... really bugged me. that whole day i couldnt stop thinking if it was a suicide or ifs he was killed or what she was thinking as she fell...

when i was young i watched someone pull there dead best freind out of lake erie...didnt understand at the time but that was so bad...

my cousin was climbing at american fork and him and his friends found a body at the bottom of this cliff. they called the cops and when they got their they took everyones info and arrested his friend because he had priors for possession. they just assumed he pushed the guy off.

I live in a pretty shady apartment building downtown.

2 new year's ago some tenant jumped to his death from the 26th floor. Apparently he had some financial problems and was mad stressed.

about 8 months ago a woman was caught up in a fire on one of the upper 20th floors. The fire was so bad she either jumped or fell to her death. That morning the fire alarms went off for over 2 hours straight...so fuckin loud. With so many false alarms here...and me being so hung over that day...i slept through the whole ordeal. Her body was on the south side of the building...but i never went to look.

the first house i lived in was nice, but the yellow line in the middle of the road literally divided my house from a really hood part of town. one night when i was really little i was taking a bath and heard gunshots, so i climbed out to peer out the window and there was a dead guy. then the police came and it was really awkward to have a chalk line of a body near my front steps. i also once found a bag of coke stashed in my bushes, but didnt know what it was so gave it to my mom, who immediately called the cops

man thats fucked.. my buddy saw a man get shot in the head from inside his school bus in grade four .. from like 20 ft away

last year a kid committed suicide in the dorm room above mine by popping pills. He was there for four or five days until the RA's found him. I found out and i freaked out, that dead kid was there above my head for like four days. So im standing outside my dorm tell the story to my homie, and the coroner comes out with the kid on a stretcher, not even in a body bag, and loads him into his miny van and drives away. so creepy and fucked at the same time

a few years ago i was in Montreal for the F1 canadian grand Prix, and on our way to the race you walk along this bridge thats about a 500m away from the biosphere. as i we were walking i look towards it and theres this dude near the very top of the sphere which is 62m in hieight and bunch of fire fighters around him trying to save him. eventually i watched the man attempt to jump off to his death. vut, since it's a giant sphere that is linked with metal bars, its pretty much impossible to make it was the sides of it. he began to bounce off the structure like a ragdoll. i never knew if he was confirmed dead, but i assumed he was.

dude you would be so surprised about how many people kill themselves by jumping in front of trains. Something like 70 people in a year jumped in front of trains on one subway line.
