what i means is like there was years of development put into these skis (past models, materials, manufacturing) and they still manage to crumble when you kind of clack them a weird way or hit a rock.

This is all speculation, but I believe Faction chooses low quality materials (inconsistent, not strength). They also probably have a very cheap manufacturing process. This is all to say that the design of the skis is probably just fine. It's the decisions made by leadership to lower costs that affect the brand's durabilty image. They would probably fix the issues if it truly cost them money, so that leads me to believe it is cheaper for them to simply have a good warranty system. This can only be possible with lots of cost cutting elsewhere.

That's why I believe Faction's issues are caused by poor material selection and/or cheap manufacturing techniques.

Lol people who have factions. It’s not a big deal just observations over the past few years. I’m sure factions are great skis, but they definitely are less durable than most others. I feel like this is pretty common knowledge.

Thats me, I have factions.. and I found that comment accurate because faction does seem to have durability issues. Though they are the best performing skis I've ever used
