I bet you clicked this thread and had no idea what to expect.

Well here is a river in a river. Pretty cool if I do say.

thats actualy pretty sick, do you know any more information, like what that river in the river consists of?
 
If you are a professional diver you should visit Cenote Angelita, Mexico.

There's some kind of cave. When you go deeper than 30 meters the water is fresh, deeper than 60 - it's salty.

And then you see a river underneath, with trees and leaves.

But of course, it's not a real river.

It's just a layer of hydrogen sulphide.

But it looks amazing.

ahh thats just about as cool as the part of planet earth where the salt water and clear water parts of the cave separate
 
I saw this in Planet Earth, or maybe Blue Planet. its sick shit. it has to do with something thats in the water if i remember right
 
same as this?- "Brine pools are large areas of brine on the ocean basin. These pools are concentrations of water having an extremely high salinity as compared to the surrounding ocean, caused by the motion of large salt deposits through salt tectonics."
 
I've heard of people dying in places like that because that can't tell where the actual surface of the water is.

this reminds me of spongebob. they would always drink water and go to the lagoon and spray hoses or whatever, and i was like wtf? you are under water. its like this
 
on the planet earth i saw a couple days ago, they said it was layers of salt water and fresh water in the mexican caves.
 
Yeahh.. ... Exactly. It lays of saly then fresh then the river thing. It explains it on the website more.
