I-Pod Touch Jailbreak Help

Ok i kind of feel like an idiot but I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer. When you jailbreak your I-Pod touch with Spirit and download Cydia (which I know how to do, please no comments about that) do you lose your music also? and if so, can you still purchase/ download music from itunes?

you dont lose your music, and yes you can still update/buy songs from itunes.

dont update the firmeware on your ipod though until you know it is safe and there has been another jailbreak released for any newer firmware apple releases.

a few things i recommend downloading for youripod from cydia are:

-winterboard

-bosspaper

-SBsettings

-lockdown

-gb4iphone

-nes

good luck. i've been cracking my ipods since my ipod color in like 2005 where i got it to play movies and gameboy and doom and stuff. so if you need any help, feel more than welcome to ask me.

mine is jailbroken right now and i'm on it, and when i jailbroke it origionally it got bricked and i thought it was broken but when i fixed it cydia was right there and everything was good. but i love it now, get installous, sbsettings, winterboard, mxtube, make it mine, and a ton of other stuff
 
its the best one^

does anyone else have any app recommendations to make jailbreaks well worth it?
