I-Pod, Car Transmitter

My car doesnt have a tape deck so im looking for an alternate way to listen to my i pod in the car, i know they have transmitters out there, but ive heard mixed reviews on all the different radio transmitters, so does anyone here have one and how do you like it?

i've used both transmitters and those tape things that plug into your ipod and the tape things def work better.

 
dont get a transmitter, i got one the other day and the quality of the music is horrible, i only bought it because it was cheap and a way that i could listen to my ipod until i get my new system, i would go with the monster cable if i was u.

whats this monster cable? Does it plug directly into your car or something? Enlighten me

monster has a transmitter that will work if you plug it into a cigarette lighter. dont make the mistake i did with getting the one that plugs into the headphones, get the one that plugs in where you charge it

yeah the monster cable is good because its pluged into the car so you dont have to worry about the batteries dying. my dad has it and we've never had a problem with the quality

do what I did, run a rca->headphone jack out of your head unit, best quailty sound possible(basicly I just have a headphone jack coming out of my dash now, so i can plug it into anything, ipod, laptop, satillite radio, ect). So much better then re-transmitting over radio, that just plan sucks.

i got an itrip and a car charger and the quality is excllent...best 50 bucks i ever spent

my car got scraped on, lost everything including my cd collection. got an ipod and bought a $100 deck that has an "iplug" on it, which is an AUX port. i think this is the dopest way and i dont loose any sound quality.
