I never thought this would happen...

So today, one of my friends that I have known since I was in 5th grade in middle school has passed away from a car accident. He was only 16. We got close when we skated together and on the football field back in the pony and midget days and we were friends since. This is a hard day for my surrounding community and school and for all of his friends and family. Tomorrow night is the first home football game at my high school and he will not be on the field now because of this terrible accident. This shit is just too unreal and eye-opening, you never think it will happen to you or someone you know but it can in a blink of an eye...

So out of all of this Newschoolers, please take one thing in.

Don't drive and text, it's not worth it...R.I.P Clay...

I don't have texting so I can't text anyways, but whenever I call or answer a call I put it on speaker and set it on my lap.

Like a billboard says near me, "DNT TXT, JST DRV."

Damn dude, vibes. This is why i support texting while driving laws. If you're ever a passenger on the highway and you just look out the window at the people that you drive past, there's always someone staring straight down at their phone with no idea what's going on. Shit's dangerous :(

+ vibes man, i fucking HATE people who don't pay attention while driving. People just don't realize how easy it is to die from a car accident.

VIBES +++++++.

one of my friends since i was 8 died at the age of 16 turning 17 that night, only a month ago. i know what you and your community are going through.

remember, you're not alone in the coming struggles, be close to your friends and people you love, and help each other out

and talking about him really does help, even if it hurts

hey man, really sorry to hear what happened, it's terrible loosing such a close friend to you. I hope you, his family, your football team, and all his other friends cope with the loss alright and can remember him for the good man I'm sure he was. If it's not too rude and upsetting, can I ask exactly what happened in the accident?

I lost three friends in an accident about 5 years ago. They were drinking/smoking at a party and they lost control of the truck on the way home. The driver (also a friend) survived. He served 4 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter x3. That day changed my life, in a way, for the better. It makes you realize how precious life is and that it can be taken away at any second. Much love to you, your friend and his family. You will all be in my prayers tonight.

Vibes man.I know how it feels to lose a friend in a car accident man. I feel for you bro. Just shows you how fragile life really is.

Vibess dude. If I'm in someones car who's doing anything dumb while driving I'm always the fag that tells them to stop fucking around and drive safe. It's stories like these that make it worth it. You're not just putting yourself in danger, but everyone around you. I know I've nearly gotten hit by some fucker in the other lane not paying attention and drifting into my lane. Driving is serious kids, and the laws are they for a reason. Follow them.

Vibes to you and everyone involved. Loosing someone in an accident is a terrible feeling.

I lost my cousin in October of 2002. My Senior year. I still remember the exact moment that I found out. His funeral is still the hardest I have ever cried. Just remember that you're not the only one going through it. Talk to your friends and remember all the good times.

My cousin's dog tags still hang from my rear view mirror, a reminder of him every single day.

these always make me feel terrible, and how fortunate i am to have never experience something like that.

vibes man.

vibes, lots of stuff like that happens where i'm from.few years ago a girl at my high school died in a stupid car accident.the girl who was driving was my buddy's older sister and their family dealt with the horrible ordeal for like 3 years of court and stuff.the whole school commemorates her birthday, and she has her own RIP page in the yearbook.

vibes bro.
and i just started driving myself and every time i press on the gas i think of all of these threads that hit home with some people. and all i can think about is if it will happen to me.

My sister texts all the time. Scares the shit out of me because she isn't a good driver to begin with.

+++vibes bro. It sucks to lose somebody close like that.
