I never knew you could get pulled over on....

You kids suck at insulting people.

And to clear it up, i'm mad because pulled me over for literally no reason. I broke no laws, fuck that guy. I know he just saw me and was like "hehe im gonna fuck with this kid" because there was no reason to pull me over on my longboard.

I heard you broke 5 different laws.

Count your losses (a few minutes of your time and some sand in your vagina) and move on with your life. People complain about NSG being cluttered with bullshit and then this gets posted.

in oregon if your on any wheeled deviece you can get a dui on it.. that even means hellies. yes someone has been givin a dui on hellies.

but once when i was in 8th grade i was sitting down on my longboard cause i was tired and the road was bumpy and it was dark.. so i was hauling ass and i go around the bend a cop pulls out of this track house complex,, i look behind and then lights on woop woop.. voice on the pa .. please pull over.. so i pull over, and she says then .. remian seated please... im like. wtf is this shit.. she walks up to me.. and is like " do you know why i pulled you over" ? i say. " no I have no idea" She says" well you have no lights on that veichle" im dumbfounded at this point. " if you continue to ride it i will impound your board" so i get up and start walking home.. she fallows me for like 1/4 mile but thats also West Linn Police... the police with not a fuckin thing to do ever EVER!

Thats just what he said, he didn't list them off. The only thing he mentioned was switching lanes illegally, but i was on a fucking longboard, any person who isn't a retard knows you don't just go straight on a longboard, you carve to control your speed. I just think its so stupid a cop wasted his time pulling me over for no reason, such a waste of tax money.

All of you kids would bitch so much more if this happened to you, i don't think anyone understands i longboarded a total of 6 blocks and this asshole cop pulled me over less than a block from my house for absolutely no reason. Whatever, im gonna be so pissed if this happens again.

Think about this. Say you were drunk and riding any vehicle (bike, longboard, heelies, etc) and you are swerving all over the place and a car is coming at you and you do somthing (swerve into his lane, fall) and so he doesnt run you over he swerves and hits a tree.

Although you were not driving drunk you can still cause damage to yourself or others if you are intoxicated enough to not know what the fuck you are doing. Because he did not give you the ticket just shows that he was looking out for your saftey, so stop bitching about it.

I'm with Heath on this one.

Its ok when other people whine but when Heath whines, it seems like everyone is jumping on his case.

It just sounds to me like the cop had nothing better to do and was bored. Like I've been pulled over/ticked for going 2 over the speed limit its just stupid shit like that gives cops a non reputable name and causes people to dislike them.

I dont like this Mike-O character. youre a hooligan, so stop with the hate and let the dude have a thread. There are technically no laws for longboarders. Its not a motorized vehicle. There is no helmet law? As long as you aren't riding on the sidewalk then you have done nothing wrong and therefore the police cant charge you. I doubt he followed you for however many blocks to watch if you rolled through a stop sign. so yes, that cop was a douche...in contrary to popular belief.

Clicked on thread intending to make fat joke insinuating some type of similarity between eheath and a motorized vehicle. I see that it has already been done. Carry on.

there was a kid that use to go to my highschool, he was longboarding only a short distance and i cant remember if he was drunk or not, i think he was but he was hit by a bus and killed. im just sayin it can happen and u never know when. he was just lettin you know. RIP Chase

Isn't any "moving vehicle" considered to be DUI if you are behind the wheel or moving whilst intoxicated. Isn't that how the guy riding his horse got a DUI when he was riding home on the footpath.

at lake placid cops pulled up behind me and i got in trouble for longboarding on the sidewalk, THE FUCKING SIDEWALK, and said its safer in the road because there are no pedestrians to hit.....

Nobody fucking cares. he pulled you over, told you you broke 5 laws and let you go. stop being a little bitch and get the fuck over it

this thread makes me lul.
first off: if you get away with breaking 5 laws, you shouldnt tell anyone. consider yourself lucky
second: you didnt get in trouble. i know many people who do get in trouble and you dont see them making threads complaining about it.
but all in all, i am a longboarder as well and know that people naturally generalize us with a negative perspective, which is unfair i know.

i got pulled over on my goped (motorized scooter) theyre illegal in the strangest spots byt my house and not in other places because the city limits are weird. anyway yeah, i was speeding and riding in the street so i rode away and pulled moves on the cop and he didnt catch me

Ok, sorry for digging, but let's make this clear:

As soon as you're on the road and not on the sidewalk any more, you expose other people on the road to danger if you're drunk.

I come from the so called greenest city in Europe and many people go by

bike. Each and every weekend, accidents happen because of drunk people

on bikes (or longboards) doing stupid things like cutting lanes,

ignoring lights, driving on the wrong side of the road or weaving into

oncoming traffic.

Bicycles themselves can't cause much damage, but they can make car

drivers reacting in panic so that they steer into a

tree/pole/wall/car... Because of this (far fetched allegory, I know), it

is also forbidden to walk on the highway, you see? :D

Now, I understand that this was your neighborhood and there was probably

not much traffic going on at night. Still, the warning or reminder from

the cop might have been his form of educating you about the risks of

using things like longboards on public roads when you're drunk.
