i need your advice

i can either keep ski racing and not freeski this year (too much), or i HAVE to get a job/do a winter sport and freeski instead of racing.

what kinda job can i get that i can still do with school but not do it on the weekends. o ya, i dont like many winter sports so thats a problem too.

 
just race and show up in ur baggyest cloths and twin tips and ski the corse switch

what happined to drugs, sex, & rock and roll...now adays we have aids crack and techno.......

bummer, i just said im not doing a winter sport and im skiing as long as i can and my parents said it was cool, i work at a ski shop and a grocery store, two jobs, so stop bitching, plus i ski with the ski shop on sundays anyways, so suckkk it beatch

go ahead and race but don't just race you can freeski at the races and such cut some practice go freeskiing, and such yah no how to do it.

I'm guessing that your parents are forcing this decision upon you. Make them realize that the soul purpose of skiing is to enjoy yourself. Its not about anything else. Then tell them that racing sucks ass.

 
haha, i have raced a while but ive also been freesking the park/powder of the east (ya i have about 5 inches of ice) for a while, im ok in the park (switch 5's, stuff like that) but i really started to ride in the park last year and its so fun, but i donno what job to get. the only good thing about racing is i get to go to other mountains with good parks. and yes lapping the park when im not training does take time because my coaches are bitches and i have to go and change skis every time i wanna go to the park.

 
movie theatre...thats what im doing. part time job at movie theatre...ski all day..work from 6-10

you should just weigh ur options and then do what u think is best for urself. racing is not gay if u have fun doing it, keep it real.

 
id freeski. but then again, racing makes you way better. if it was my, id ditch racing, just cuz i love freeskiing to much

ok first of all ditch all your race gear and sell it for as much acsh as possible .. with that money by an old van from the 60's or somehting ..park it in front of the resort sleep in it all winter . ski all day and work cleaning up as a janitor in the night .you will get payed and you can go to the calf and steel all the leftover food . cuz you will have keys to every thing in the building . plus skiing will be free cuz staff at most resorts get free pass's . this way you can live on your own and you can tell your parents to fuck off . untill spring lol ..it's kinda what i plan n doing when iam out ofschool .

oh so thats what you call a getaway well tell me what you got away with cuz i'v seen more spine in a gelly fish i'v seen more guts in an 11 year old kid. have another drink and drive your self home .i hope there is ice on all the roads. so you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt . and again whn you'r head smashes thro the winsheald .

^why do people think it does. i think being all hardcore and shit, not ever going into the park and stuff or even freeskiing for a few runs a day is what makes you a fag, but why is being good at actual all around skiing (including park) make you a fag? dont say the spandex becausse you only have to wear it on a race day and i admit its very gay but other than that its not that bad.

 
no dont wear spandex. I heard it really doesnt help your time. Just wear some really baggy clothers or maybe some old school shit like a one piece to the race.

but people are like wow your gay if you dont wear one and my coach is a bitch and talks to my mom about taht shit, kinda the opposite of almost everybody on ns (at elast the ones that dont like racers)
