I need yalls help seriously

My buddy left his kodiak fourwheeler at my house and i took it for a joy ride in the woods..now, every time i give it gas, it will go fine, then when i hold it down and try to go fast , it wont go any faster than like 10-15 mph, but before 10-15 mph is goes and sounds fine,does anyone know whats wrong..i will elaborate if need be i just wrote this fast..

it seems like it will try to go fast but just kinda pops a lil bit and doesnt go faster

Ya'lls should probly mosey on over to dat fixer upper store 'cusin us newschool folk aren't gonna be able to diagnose dat problem over the intermanets.
 
if it's not it, like its auto or sumthin, at least chek oil and belts and injection in neutral while revving, gears could slip in autos and ud never kno if u never broken sumthin in to where the gears arent engaging, i hope its not old, this shit can be costly, neways, does it take a mix? is it twostroke? if its a two stroke mix gas (oil n gasoline) but sumbody put in just gas the engine could get real hot then start to malfunction...

there's a lot of shit to an engine, but u can get diagrams of em online, so start toolin around and see if u can tighten sum of that shit on ur own...

never use auto trannies, its as gay as it sounds
