I need to buy a puppy

i have two jack russel terriers and they're way badass...they shred in the snow and are mad hyper and just all around ill.
 
I've got two, they have really different personalities-one is constantly hyper and never shuts up, the other ones pretty mellow. Personally, I wouldn't recommend em, we can't let mine off their leashes outside because they'll make a break for it. The black lab I used to have pretty much never ran away, but he did get pretty big. I miss Clifford...
 
get a samoyed!! i've had two and they're by far the smartest and friendliest dogs on the planet. plus they can stay outside at night during a snowstorm

 
get a springer spaniel, mine swims, going on 5+ mile hikes with us, my dad and his gf go xc skiing with him, he chases ducks away, adn most of all, hes a fucking PIMP. the only problem is a lot of spaniels go deaf.

his names murphy, he jumped out of a car going 55 adn through a screen, out a 2nd story window onto blacktop. im telling you these things are diesel. his on top.

samoyed's have the most annoying bark i have ever heard from a dog, and they are definitely not the smartest dog on the planet
 
i just got an English Springer spanial it likes the snow and has lots of energy it will also only get to about 40 pounds and 19 inches tall
 
Shi-tzu's are crazy. Mine is slightly retarded. He doesnt know his name, but knows some basic commands.

 
that dog was voted ugly`s dog last year but this year finished this year ohh and proabably gets laid with his owner ahahahahaahha
 
i think of all the suggestions that fit the thread creators wants for a dog, the springer spaniel fits the best, or a cocker spaniel for a smaller dog, any terrier is going to be a pain in the ass
 
get a labradoodle, my friends neighbor breeds them and they are the coolest dogs i've ever seen, only problem is they run at about 3g's
 
hahahaha who the fuck pays 3g's for a labradoodle? they arent even a breed. why not just go to the pound and help a dog out there, and pay 50$?
 
ohhh and i believe ive said it before, but beagles are awesome smallish dogs. they can stand the cold, mine loves the snow, and they are hyper when needed, sleepy when not. and they dont shed tooo much, and they require minimal grooming. and everyone loves you because your dog is adorable.

j/k, i would suggest a beagle, because they LOVE the snow, they are medium sized, but they hate water, mine is terrified of water...here is CODY!!

Basicly I need a dog i can throw outside in a freezing cold snowy backyard for more then an hour, and something i can throw into the middle of the lake

Get one of those guys. It's a golden doodle which is a mix between a golden retriever and a poodle so they are smart and it fucking loves the water and snow. It doesn't shed either.
 
well not necessarily true, ive heard of quite a few that love the water. personally mine doesnt mind it, she loves running through the water and she likes boating, but doesnt like to swim.
 
oh im not saying labradoodles cant be good dogs, my uncle has one, and its great. im just saying they arent a breed, so why pay so much for one? that just seems ridiculous to me.
