I need the warmest gloves known to man

i think i have a circulation problem, because my hands freeze no matter what. even when it's 40 degrees outside and the rest of me is sweating. i was checking out the burton ak guide gloves, but what else is warm as fuck?

in that case, a warm glove isnt going to help if you dont have any circulation. your hand will turn black and fall off eventually, then you only need one glove

check www.levelgloves.com and they have a bunch of different materials they use for insulation and waterproofing, they have some pretty intense gloves, so take a gander at them

Marmot makes these gloves called the "ultimate ski glove" its pretty steezy too and SUPER effing warm

okay, here is a response that is not just based on personal experience about sick gloves:

First off, yes, the Burton AK top of the line is nice. Definitely consider it. Other considerations are: Hestra gloves. They are an old glove company that makes REALLY nice stuff. I was lucky to snag a pair last season for cheap ($50. hey, they cost $110 new). They are really well made and super warm. The ultimate mountain glove by Marmot, whoever suggested that, is also a nice choice. Lastly, as someone said, if you don't care about style too much, I had some down mittens which were amazing. I would highly recommend them.

I have the same circulation problem, and here is a HUGE tip that my doctor helped me with and changed my hand warmth: how warm your hands are is contingent on how warm your arms stay. Wear underarmour type gear or other stuff that keeps your arms warm.

I dream of winter.

No glove will ever keep your hands as warm as mittens, so if its really a problem, look into mittens and just get used to having paws instead of hands. :P

Maybe your hands are clamy and sweat a bit and they get cold? Try bringing a few pairs of gloves to the hill and keep chaning them during the day.

buy glove liners too, north face and mountain hardware of some nice ones they are real thin and keep you a lot warmer. I woudl also try mittens if you dont mind having paws.

get choppers they wont screw up your circulation and make sure its not your pole strap arent messing with it

"if all your friends jumped off a clif would you?" -my mom "i would if there was snow on it" -me

I had a problem like yours too. I got some Levels (on sale for $70) and they are great. My hands stayed nice and toasty even on those -15 degree days here on the EC

i actually always wear an underarmour. i have the all season one though, so it isn't overly warm. deezl told me the season my hands get so cold is because my core gets cold, and i need to wear more than a shell.

oh, and i get hooked up with grenade and burton, so if you guys found something from them... that would cost me nothing, or very cheap. thanks.

i have the same problem as you. my hands are freezing even in warm weather. i wore liners under my gloves this year and i was still frozen.

your hands are warmed by your blood, if your chest/arms are cool, then the blood will cool, inturn making your hands cool or even worse cold.

You know you have the coolest cab driver when he says, 'And we're off like a prom dress.'

^thats a whole 0% off

since everyone keeps asking me-

i get hooked up from burton because of a hot ass sweedish chick i know from stowe.. her dad is best friends with jake burton. and my roommate in mammoth that gets flow grom grenade said he would get me a box of grenade gloves.

warmest glove: Grandoe GCS

2 layers w/ removable wool liner, Thermaloft, GoreTex

warm, breathable and very well made

$99

black diamond guide gloves, similiar to the marmot ultimate (same price $150). The black diamonds are amazing, super warm, very very durable, and the outer material is scretchy but 100% water proof.

^get a pair of Nike dri fit runners gloves. i know its not a snow company but wear them as liners and you are set.

im a bitch about circulation too. i rock choppers straight up. for sluits that dont know they are leather mittens with wool liners. old-country craftsmanship

skiing is for muggles

Grandoe GCS breathe great due to the GoreTex layer

most gloves don't have Goretex, that's why they get sweaty

layers are mportant, too

mine never get clammy and you can take out the liner and wash it

just find a Grandoe dealer and check them out

but remember, there are two versions of the GCS...the $75 version that doesn't have Goretex but a cheaper substitute, and the $99 GCS that does have Goretex

get the one with GoreTex

if those are too pricy, check out the glove 'systems' at Patagonia....you can buy the shell and the liners separately

the Grandoe GCS has Primaloft insultation in the shell but I'm not sure if the Patagonia's are insulated or not

layering your hands like you layer your ski clothing in cold weather is the key and so is fabric breathability

i thought that gore-tex was a waterproofer, not something that keeps your hands from getting sweaty?

thanks for all the input guys.

my hands freeze fast, but after i got burton ak gloves i havent freezed since..get em ;)

its not the style of mittens that i don't like, its how I can manuver my hands when I use them. it makes pole holding and grabbing stuff like 10X harder doood.

because I like pooh.

hahaha stupid dolphins.

swany makes some solid shit as well!

with gas prices so expensive and mexicans so cheap i think i am going to start riding a mexican to work!

mountain equipment co-op. these guys know their shit. get the mec yukon gortex mitts. they fit big so depending on your hands or if you want to wear other basic gloves underneath buy accordingly. id go with med. or small. my hands are pretty big and a large is huge. anyways they are $74.00 canadian. get em at www.mec.ca

Im RICK JAMES bitch

i got some leather dakine gloves that feel super warm for $20 from a boardshop having a blow out sale. i got them a little big so i can get some good liners for them.

hmm... i can see why you would be worried. to tell you the truth, so would i. i see that you have been on the site for a while, but i have sold many things, and have never had a problem with anyone ever. if you look in some of the threads talking about the best honest sellers on the site, my name is always in there.

the best i can do is give you my word. but if i were to stiff you, you would have my home adress right? haha. for references you can talk to vicious, deezl, jackbach, triple_strum, skispriggs... prety much anyone.

auclair. nice and padded (they're racing gloves) but i mean, when you're racing, you're normally in a skin suit, so you're corps is much colder thereby cooling your extremities all the more.. so if those gloves keep racers warm, i think they can keep any of us warm.

and plus, how could you not like a glove that has the name of the best freeskier ever?

stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
