I need some new skis

My skis are two seasons old after this season with maybe 15 days last season and I think I'll end up with above 20 this season. That's not the main reason I'm looking for new one's though. They're pretty small at this point. I have Rossi Scratch Pro 158. I'm thinking I need something bigger? But I'm not sure how much bigger I need. I ski mostly out of park, I guess, but I'm getting into park more. Any suggestions would be great, I'm liking the new Armadas but I'm only starting out in the park and I was wondering if they're sort of overkill. I've been skiing for 13 yrs now so I'm not looking for a beginner ski, I need something that will handle East Coast conditions as well. Damn ice...

I'm 15, roughly 5'6''-5'7'' and weigh about 135 lbs.

Thanks a ton to anyone who helps me out.

ur exactley like me in age, weight, height and YES ur scratches were to small for u 3 years ago, as for skis since u say u like the armadas i will say the AR6 would be awsome...but there some other cool shit too

karmas or the fischer addicts. you will be more likely to find a cheap pair of karmas from this year since its late in the season and they will be on sale.

I think they were the right size for me back then. I grew so much in the last 2 years and finally shed some extra pounds. The AR6 are really cool, but lots of $$. I want them so badly though. I'm only learning park and I can only do a 180, grind rails, and boxes, I don't want to look like I'm about to throw and 720 and then do a 180 and get ridiculed. For whatever reason whenever I see someone with Armadas I always think they're about to do something cool. :) Hopefully that won't be an issue with me. I'm going to Utah for a week where I hope I'll get a little better in the park, but I won't be getting new skis probably until before next season. I'll check out the Karmas as well since two people have said they hold up well and I'm always skiing through the trees over rocks and stumps and the occasional metal pipe.

Another question, when are the 07/08 skis being released? Sometime after the summer is over, in time for the new season I'm assuming.

Armada or Volkl?

So I should go with 168-17?. Looking at the new AR6's that someone posted a while ago it shows 166,171, and 176 as 3 sizes around what I seem to need. Do the graphics vary by height of the ski, or do any graphics come with any skis? It looks like only 166 has that white thing and only 171 has that... other thing. :D

what? those are a park ski! yes they have all mt capability but they have a ton of flex and are for someone that spends much more time in the park than this kid

Armada is def. not overkill, AR6 is a great ski to learn on.

Don't get THalls if you ride a lot out of park, they are noodles and the AR6 is generally a better ski. Völkl Karma is also an excellent choice and check out next year's Völkl Bridge or whatever it's called it's dope.

And where I'm from most of the people on Armada are gapers (but there's a story behind that, no one likes the EU distributor). As long as you're having fun, get whatever brand you want and don't care what people will think.
