last year i bought a new pair of k2 PE's and use them as my main mountain ski. They are pretty fun to rip with but now im looking for a cheap twin tip(used is fine) that would be easy to start out in the park with

any ideas for what i should look for?

i have them mounted back so that they are something like 70-30 big mtn. id like to try something center mounted and lighter. I was also look ing at the Voikl Walls but i haven't heard that much about them. From what i hear about Invaders they got beaten up fast so...maybe look at last years..unused?

Try to get ahold of the 09 invaders. Line changed the topsheet material so they don't get beat to shit so quickly. Plus the invaders are pretty close to the underfoot width of you PE's so you won't have to aclimatize to a wider ski like the Walls. And as you probably know the invaders are a non-directional ski so you can centermount them.

for starting park that's overkill imho, just use the pe's and if you feel the stiffness is limiting then look into a new pair but for starting out why not just keep them until you feel you need a new pair? it just saves money that's all

i'm in the same boat, i have PEs mounted far back and am getting park specific skis for next year. i'm gonna get the k2 disorderlys. from what i've heard they're softer than the PEs but still fairly stiff, super poppy and symmetrical which is basically what i'm looking for.
your used to stiff skis, so invaders or fujis are gonna seem like noodles.
walls would be fine. check out the dumonts though they'd probably be ur best bet.

thanks for the link, they have some sick prices.

as for why im not using my PE's as a park ski is that i oriiginally bought them as a fun all mtn primary....good in glades and jsut fun to screw around with . Thier topsheet is Very easy to scratch and at this poin ti'd like not to screw w/them.

im gonna check the walls and invaders for now...any ideas what they would run me used?

My PE's got owned in the topsheet after 1 season, but I know 2 people with Invaders with only 1 scratch that is barely noticeable. Go with Invaders, definitely a nice cheap butter ski, also, Fujatives from 2 years ago are like 150 bucks if you look around.
