I need race skis

I recently joined the ski team at wsu, and i can get pro forms from rossi, salomon, k2, and atomic. I am looking into possibly buying some races skis if i can get them for $150 or less. Does anyone know of any good slalom skis that would be about 165cm or so. I think im just going to stick to my pollards for gs cuz they are long enough.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

i have nice atomic skis, beta race 20s or something, that are a very nice GS ski...sorry, i have no slalom ski, but i will sell you these for 100 bucks, with bindings. They are in excellent condition, I just never use them at all anymore. The bases are in very good condition, I waxed them every time I used them.

You won't find great raceing skis for 150... you will never find actual racing skis for that cheap, they start at like 700-800 for adult skis good luck

that isnt true, lots of people that dont race after high school have lightly used race gear that they then sell for cheap.

i was thinking about maybe getting something in the 165 range and then p14s, would that be a good idea. i dont really know anything about slalom skis, so who makes the best ones cuz i might just get new skis from the pro forms.

oh, and another option i was toying with is just getting like some public enemys or fujatives that are like 165 or 170 or so and just using those cuz im not that serious about racing i just think it would be fun. do you guys think that these would be terrible for racing, or could i make do with something like them.

ya man thats the way to go dont waste your money on a pair of race skis when you could just use a pair of park or BM twins and they would work virtually as well.

i think i have decided to get some twins at about 170. does anyone know of a really good carving twin that i could get from rossi, k2, dynastar, or salomon? i think i will just get one of these brands because i can get the pro forms. also, as far as bindings would the rossi fks series be my best bet? i am not sure if i can get pro forms for look though, so i might just have to get rossi.

If you wanna race on twins, then go for the pistols. they are some of the stiffest arround. but they are nothing comparred to real raceskis. You can get some factoryskis, but that will ruin you. In that matter Dynastar in the brand to go for (in europe).

i have only heard good things about the fks bindings, you should get those, and as far as other skis go, i would just get an all mountain (like pe) or allmountain/park ski (like scratch fs)

so basically your first choice i think should be pe's, than scratch fs's, and then i guess tms or foils
