I need opnions on my new skis

I just got new K2 apache's im not a expert skiier and i dont do hardly anything in the park mostly just racing my friends to the bottom of mountain. Id like some Pros and Cons about them. Tell me whatcha know. Thanks!

  • 72mm waist width matched with an agile sidecut lets the skier make secure arcing turns on groomed trails
  • Torsion Box design utilizes a Triaxial-braided wood core to create a high degree of rebound and performance
  • Cap construction envelops the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski, keeping overall weight light and durability high
  • Fir core is naturally strong and durable, and it produces a smooth flex, allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout a turn
  • Triaxial braiding wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the wood core, providing torsional stiffness, responsive turning and sensitivity
  • MOD technology features an elastomeric secondary core which works as a high-performance suspension and damping system
  • MOD technology doesn't affect flex, allowing the skis to bend freely while absorbing vibrations and increasing power, forgiveness and performance
  • Marker M2 10.0 integrated binding features a floating toe and fixed heel to generate excellent power, precision and quickness
  • Integrated binding system allows the ski to flex naturally and fully from tip to tail for smooth turn initiation, hold and release
  • Binding features DIN 3 - 10 release settings
  • Rated at 70% groomed and 30% ungroomed, the Sabre is an enjoyable ride in a variety of conditions

i doubt many people on here have skied them.
i'm not a big fan of k2 skis myself, i feel like theyre a bit slow rebounding out of turns, and i think they generally lack torsional stiffness.just my .02
maybe try over at epicski.com or tgr?
they might have more people that have first hand experience with your skis.
what kind of skier are you? like, skillwise and stuff?

im decent..ive only been skiing for 2 years so on a scale of 1-10 id give myself a 5or6. ive got the basics down awsome just havent mastered moguls and stuff

alright, you'll probably be ok, a 72mm waste is pretty small though, i mean, my race skis are 64 underfoot and ive skied knee deep pow on them, but still.
i'd maybe look for something a bit wider, like 85~ in the future
