hey guys i am going to be posting PICS later so do not worry

i just set up a tarp in my back yard with a plywood lip (jump)

i have a 20 ft banshee bungee

and the tarp is over the jump causing a perfect urban Right ? WRONG

i can not get enough umph or speed to get over the jump i am using normal dish sope and watter right now do i need a diffeent type of soap or what i dont know what i am dooing wrong but i know someone knows what i can do to achive speed also would it help if i made a little platform to start out with so i have a little more speed? i thought the banshee was suposed to send ppl flying?

Depends on how far you stretch the bungee cord and if you just lay this tarp on the ground or if the tarp is even on the ground (I am just assuming that you have a tarp run in and that the tarp isn't just on your jump). You can put plywood underneath the tarp and staple the tarp down to the plywood as tightly as you can get it, which would help out, or you can walk the bungee back further and see how that works out.
 
yeah the guy above me is right. if the tarp is just over the grass, your not going anywhere. you have to have a hard surface under the plywood witht the tarp as tight as possible. wrinkles=loss of speed.
 
I could see you selling the bungee cord but who is going to buy a tarp and some pre-cut wood?

And it's all up to you. If you don't think that it's going to work do some research and figure out how much another set up is going to cost you (ask local businesses, don't ask us we don't know what it's going to cost you). Then figure out if it is worth it or not.
 
That sounds like my drop in. I have a hill in my backyard that I lay plywood on. Then I screw the plywood together so that is overlaps a couple of inches. Then I stapled a tarp to the plywood which is way faster than turf. You can't get any grip on the tarp though so the tarp ends at the beginning of the tranny and then the tranny and jump are both covered in astro turf. It works really well and I have enough speed to hit a 15 foot flat rail and a 20 foot flat down rail.
 
dont sell the bungee or anything use it all to build a drop in.

if you have a brain in your head you can esily make one very cheap
