kay so i bought super sick camera panasonic hdc-sd9 and its only uploading footage to imovie not inal cut pro or anything if u know how i can get it to upload it would be great thanks
 
I haven't used final cut in a while but my guess would be try finding like an import button in final cut.
But if that doesn't work you can always upload to imovie then transfer it to final cut.
 
i used to have that problem, there are a few ways around it. my method of choice is to, once you put your sd card into the computer, open it in a file viewer and click and drag all the desired clips into a new desktop folder. then drag them straight into the clip storage menu, like the list of all the clips you have for use on your project. that worked for me so i hope it helps
 
^oh and remember not to delete the clips from your desktop folder until after youre completely finished with the project. if you delete them from the desktop then you wont be able to use them in the project, itll say theyve gone "offline"
