I need help with editing software

Basically i have a mac i hear they suck pretty bad i know. Mac comes with imovie and i want to get something better. Anyone know where i can download something?
 
youre right, the pros use it so it must be the best computer in the world

its about preference. the fact is macs can do anything pcs can do, and pcs can do anything macs can do, including running OSX.

why is it that you only hear of mac users running windows while you don't hear about pc users running OSX? work the answer out yourself. (hint: one of them sucks)

but macs sure do look nice!

 
Are you seriously insinuating what I think you are? Yes, I believe it's all about preference, but c'mon man.

and besides, while Windows has stable versions, there is no denying that Vista is punted by OSX.
 
And to help you out - if you are running mac, iMovie is actually really good. I love that program!
if you want something a little more advanced, you can look into Final Cut Express which is around $300 last I checked.

If you want what the big dogs use, you can go for Final Cut Pro, although I don't know how much it is by itself.
 
It is significantly easier to run Windows on an Apple computer than vice-versa, because Windows is designed to work on a multitude of hardware configurations, while OS X is only built to run on Apple hardware. It has nothing to do with how good either operating system is.
 
ur pretty clueless if you think windows is better than osx. macs are worth the extra cash and thats saying alot, cuz pretty pricey. anyways, fcp is the best one you could get. its 1 g for fcp studio 6. try buying fcp express like that 1 kid mentioned or hit up limewire for fcp.
