This may or may not be a thread already. I didn't really check because i don't know what to call it. Basically i just want to know how i would add footage from something like a tv show. You're probably thinking something along the lines of "what the fuck is this kid thinking of?" and I'm here to tell you. I was watching pokemon one day and the episode was of Team Rocket and Ash/Misty/Brock stuck in a snowstorm. As i was watching i thought that some of these scenes would be good in an edit, Ive seen in some edits people used clips from a news report from tv or part of a show. my question is how would one do that.

Its actually quite simple. Find the clip youcwant on youtube or any other part of the interweb and simply download it.. then pop it in the video. I love when people put funny tv show clips into edits. Think it really adds to edits. Hope I helped

find it on youtube, use a basic youtube downloader, they are as common as the mp3 converters, and then if you need to, use mpeg stream clip to get it in the same codec as everything else, then make your edit. Just make sure you find the highest quality clip you can, and you may need to tweak sound/colors slightly
