I need help burning dvds!!

i just got a new computer and i got it with a dvd burner with the goal of (obviously) burning dvds. my problem is, i'm not sure now to do that. i know with cds you need to rip it to your computer, but how do i do that with a movie? is there some program that i need? thanks for any help i can get!

it should come with a dvd burning/making thing, and just edit a movie and do it

the thing is i'm not making my own movies and making copies of those. i'm trying to make copies of, like, Mighty Ducks 2, for example

is it dual layer? if so the movie goes in the cd rom slot and the blank dvd goes in the DVD rw slot. then i dont know what

no. its a laptop and there's only one place to put a disc

read your owners manual. or go to the companys website, look for the customer support area and look around for what you need

you need to get a dvd ripping and compression program. I'm not sure which programs to use on a pc, I use a Mac.

if u just have like downloads of bearshar or live wire or something you can just make a menu thing in encore and put the videos in that project for burning

i did that for rodney vs daewon rounds 1-3.

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

 
dvd shrink will do ya for that if u run into probs or want a more advanced prog... pm me... but yea search dvd shrink... it shuld do u for straight copies...

yes i also am wondering how to copy a dvd to a blank one, i have a new laptop with a dual-layer dvd burner, no other cd/dvd drives. As far as whoever wanted to burn that Zero Dying to Live, that's fucking easy, you can even put it on a cd and make it playable in dvd players, make a vcd.
