I need help burning dvds

i just got a new computer and i got it with a dvd burner with the goal of (obviously) burning dvds. my problem is, i'm not sure now to do that. i know with cds you need to rip it to your computer, but how do i do that with a movie? is there some program that i need? thanks for any help i can get!

you should try downloading a program called either dvd rescue or dvd x rescue or something along those lines. it puts them on your hard drive temporarily then copies that to the new dvd. it copies complete with menus and all that other shizz, but it kinda fucks with your computer. you can't really use your computer after you burn one, unless your burning more, you need to do a restart. maybe mine was just f'ed up actually now that i think of it... oh well.

either way that program is dope.

dvd shrink is the best dvd ripping program out there... easy to use, and doesnt mess up yoru computer

You should be able to google it and find a place to download
