What would you guys suggest that I wear under my helmet... Balaclavas, neck warmer, beanie??? Let me know what you wear under your helmet and what brands you think are good. I want something that covers my head/face/neck.

Make sure that your helmet is designed to wear stuff under it. A lot of them aren't and make them useless if you put something under it

Melanzana microgrid hoodie because the hood does all of those things and its a good base layer. Not to mention they are hand crafted in Leadville

Coal knit balaclava, i have one and its very warm and you can pull it down your past your chin if need be. Only cost me 20 bucks

Yea I definitely want one that I can pull down past my chin... Thanks!

i wear a nike pro combat balaclava. i think its meant to be under like football helmets but its warm, thin and covers my face and neck. and I'm pretty sure it was only like $20, so not too expensive

dakine/under armour facemasks are my personal favorite. Warmer days, I'll just rock a neck tube/sunnies but for the best fit, definitely something that's skin-tight. Idk how people rock beanies under their helmets but that's just me.

If you have the dakine balaclava.... Can you pull it down past your chin?

Buff balaclava/hood combo + a flat brim, i have this on3p thats beat up so I wear it under my helmet with sunglasses. Most comfortable to me IMO. If you live somewhere where its below 20 degrees during the day you might wanna wear a beanie.

Oh yeah, its kinda like a ninja mask really. I just got one a few months ago, its awesome and I highly reccomend it.

thin balaclava for warm days. on most days I use a thinner microfiber neck tube or two and a fitted beanie over it. I would recommend a fitted beanie because it keeps everything in place, and the helmet will fit you better without all the lumps and wrinkles that form when you try to fit a looser beanie under it.

I second the underarmour balaclava i have one that i wear every day of the season.

my opinion of some sick stuff is pretty much what i have cause i find it comfy.

giro combyn

armada basic beanie then under the beanie i wear a thin balaclava type thing

If you have to wear something, wear something very thin. Wearing a hat under your helmet makes the helmet not sit correctly on your head which significantly decreases its protective capabilities. I don't see why you would even need anything under your helmet, ski helmets are very insulated.

Get a better helmet. Every ski helmet I've owned has been more comfortable than a hat (aside from the first few hours or so the first time I wear it, due to needing time to break in). Try Giro, I find them to be the most comfortable.

Yup. This is a pretty important thing most people completely overlook. I see people rocking thick, knit beanies under their helmets and it is not very safe. I am a hypocrite because I still wear a beanie underneath, but its the thinnest one I can find.

Once again I'll say the Under Armor balaclava. Nice and thin fits under the helmet. On really cold days I'll wear a buff over it too.

i have a thin tight under armour beanie, a tight under armour material balaclava, and a columbia facetube, and it works mint for always keeping me warm
