I need headphones

I need a good pair of studio/monitor quality headphones. I'm not looking for something steezed out like skullcandy, I'm just looking for pure sound quality. any suggestions?

I've got k181 dj's, they're amazing. best closed-back headphones i've ever listened to, just a bit pricy, but go to PriceGrabber, i got them for 150.

You know how the Technics 1200 is the standard turntable for DJ gigs? The Sony MDR 7506 is the standard headphone for studio monitoring. Everyone from Dr Dre to Speilberg to Neil Young has donned these phones while working. They are the shit. I just got a pair and re-listened to everything I owned! Refreshing! They train your ear to hear better, kind of like pump shoes make you run faster. Hehe.

WTF? I don't agree. Check out Head-fi.org or check out Audio-technica, sick japan based co. that makes sick headphpones. I've got ath-a700s and they kick.
