I need Dr. NS's help. (Knee related)

Ok I will be going to a doctor in a day or two but I just wanted to see if anyone has had this problem and can tell me what I did.

So I was skiing two days ago and everything was fine. I overshot a few times but I never felt any pain in my knee and skied all day just fine. Then yesterday my knee started feeling unstable and stiff. It felt a tiny bit weak when I walked on it but I could still walk up and down stairs just fine without a lot of pain. It hurts when I twist it when sitting down. Its a bit of a sharp pain. It also gets stiff if I keep it in a certain position for awhile. Its also a tiny bit swollen nothing to ridiculous just a little bit bigger. There's a tiny bruise on the top left side of my knee too. Now I'm scared I might have partially torn a ligament or torn it all together. It seems kind of weird how it didn't bother me at all skiing but it does now which is why I'm just getting an idea of what I might have done before I go to the doctor. So any information will be helpful. Thanks.

Wait a couple weeks (take it easy during these) and see how you feel then. If it hasn't gotten any better, and the same sharp pain keeps coming, it would be advisable to see a doctor.

Ya I plan on seeing one asap. Just thought I'd see if anyone else experienced some of these things and could tell me what it might be but I will be going to the doctor for sure in the next few days.

Doctors visits are ridiculously expensive for those of us on a budget, and if he just bruised something it won't be bothering him in 2 weeks.

yea id see a doctor

knees are tricky, it could be a sore tendon or something else small but if it is serious its not good to keep using it cuz things could get much worse
