I need an Essay.

Shitting bricks here. Basically i have a 5 page essay due (on whatever I want to write about) in an hour and a half. I know, it's not that long. But all i can think about is how i'm going to get another project done and this seems like a far second to that. It's for a level 100 college english course and any help would be appreciated. Brain storming, an e-mailed essay that one of you guys wrote and have on your desktop, anything.
 
i've written 6 opening paragraphs for different papers and none of them have seemed worth pursuing.

Capital Punishment

History of a clothing company

Going to college vs not

the right to vote

if we should be forced to vote

the war on terror taking away human rights
 
the origin of hiv/aids. there are like four or five different theories on it, each you could wrote a paper about. i wrote a research paper on aids this semester and like four of the pages were just about the origin.

-broad reasons why people don't vote

-how to keep people "in the know"

-how to enforce it

pretty much. I dont think I ever started a paper before 11pm the night before. My senior thesis was a bitch. 75 pages in less then 4 hours. I was fucking primetime
 
I have a 15 page paper about racial and economic inequality in schools backed up by media sources and a 25 page paper about the Redlich-Kwong thermodynamic equation of state and its impact on fugacity.

Take your pick.
 
Write an essay on whether or not capitalism promotes or undermines individual freedom and compare and contrast views of McNally and Friedman.
 
holy shit. mmmmmm. i wish. My teacher knows my work and to pull a 15 pager let alone 25 out of no where would absolutely be odd to him. i appreciate it though.
 
I wrote my financial thesis on the earned income tax credit and how its a work disincentive ( theres a little bit about restructuring in there)...pretty similar Ill sell it to you if you want and you could change your topic ha?

^4-5 even 6 page papers were my shit, could bang them out in under an hour, they were pretty easy by the last 2 years

Go back to 2nd grade and learn the difference between whether and weather. And don't ever try to make another comment on education.
 
Newschoolers should create a database of essays.

I am literally in the same place. got class in an hour and have not even started my essay. fuck this shit.
 
how much do you lose per day if its late?

at this point you may want to take a day and do a good job rather than rush it and do a bad job. just a thought
 
FUCK YEAH.

my dads frat house had a whole room devoted to this.

they had drawers and files organized by class and by teacher, and had various essays written by previous members of the frat for access, as well as study guides created for test in the past and copies of the tests as well. unreal. they had stuff archived over the course of like 15 years, all you had to do was pull out three essays, grab portions of each, and build off of them a little bit and you were golden

that being said, ask Mike-O. he's a great writer.
 
I still do this. Whenever I get a month or two to write something, I still do it the last few hours. And I don't think I'd be able to do it any other way.

And the database of essays is a great idea! Do it!
 
this, although i havent seen any of his non fiction. most of it is very crafty metaphor, and whiole i dont doubt his ability i just havent seen "college essay" material. He'll be here soon though, so we can ask :)
