ok so im a patroller at my Winter Park Colorado i have a pair of scratch fs and dumont skis. the core in my sketches is about shot and im looking to replace within this next year. I am looking for somthing in the 90mm to 115mm waist range im 6ft tall 145lbs and looking for somthing that i can push at speeds and rip the entire mtn on. im pretty open to any suggestions. and $ isnt really a prob

are you looking for something playful or stiff?

dont get walls, they are a park ski. mantras would be ideal from my perspective for patrol. seths could work too. i my opinion, i think you want a stiff powder ski that can handle speed and many conditions. mantra is best bet

don't get walls cause u already have dumonts
mantas are really beast
not sure how else to describe them
i'd say seths, kung fujas, prophet 100s

yep good call.. or maybe seths.. or rossi brigades/steeze (are they the s5 and s6 now?) a mid->stiff flex ski is what you want.. bacons are too soft.. lizzies are too short and too soft..

s5 is the brigade, which would be dope. also the new blends are sooooooooo sick. stiff enough to run the whole mountain, but still jibable, which is more than u can say for the blends

You have a number of options in that category,

Seth

High Society Free Ride 187

Prophet 100

4FRNT MSP

Kung Fujas

id say either the new line blends or the new gotamas. ive tried the mantras and hated them- they were pretty unstable at high speed

obsetheds

ive got a pair and they sound perfect for you, they arent really stiff but they arent soft. they are just stiff enough to be able to go fast but soft enough to have some fun id say. probably pretty good for what you want. id say a little steeper than the seths pre-mini-tip-rocker

Line Prophet 100 in the 179cm

K2 Obsethed 105mm under foot 179cm length

those would both be great skis to look at
