If we all go for the blonde and block each other, not a single one of us is going to get her. So then we go for her friends, but they will all give us the cold shoulder because no on likes to be second choice. But what if none of us goes for the blonde? We won't get in each other's way and we won't insult the other girls. It's the only way to win. It's the only way we all get laid. -john nash

Our brace young men are dying in the swamps of South-East Asia. Which of them might have written a poem? Which of them might have cured cancer? Which of them might have played in a World Series or given us the gift of laughter from the state or helped to build a bridge or a University? Which of them would have taught a child to read? It is our responsibility to let these men live… It is indecent if they die because of the empty vanity of their country. – Robert Kennedy

My favorite quote ever. Except I've always heard it worded "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out alive" and have usually seen it credited to Bugs Bunny (or Van Wilder).

Some other quotes I like:

"In certain kinds of writing, particularly in art criticism and literary criticism, it is normal to come across long passages which are almost completely lacking in meaning."; - George Orwell

"On the whole human beings want to be good, but not too good, and not quite all the time."; - George Orwell

"Get busy living or get busy dying" - Shawshank Redemption

If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws will be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness. Thoreau

^ thats a pretty solid one from henry david, he is kinda long winded so I'm sure you could talk about that for more than 3 minutes. Plus it pretty much applies to all aspects of life.
