ya, so i need a program that takes the words out of the songs and leaves only the the music.. anyone kno of anything??

i don't think that it's possible, because the computer only reads the waves, it can't really separate then if they are overlapping, not sure though....

you would need to get a hold of the completely uncompressed version of the song, when it is still in layers. The only problem is, short of breaking into a studio you're not going to find it!

i am sure it's possible some other way, but i really have no idea how.

search for an instrumental of the song that you want. if it is somewhat popular, there is a very good chance that there is already an instrumental track for it and all that you have to do is download it.

ya, he instrumental of this song aint on kazaa.. its in dutch..i founda couple of programs, but they really lower the volume of the lyrics so you can only hear the bass.

You can do it with a good sound editor, but it is very hard to do without changing the musics sound. As there will be overlaped frequencies between the lyrics and the music. There are some plugins for reason that work quite well.

Yeah, you can definatly do that with a plugin for winamp 2. Go to www.winamp.com and search through. I'm sure there are a few there, I've had them before. They work alright. Especially in rap.
