I NEED A PLACE TO CRASH IN WANAKA. Help please!

Just got to Wanaka today. Can't wait to ski.

The airline lost my luggage so I cant ski for a few days.

I am looking for a place to stay here in Wanaka. I will be here until

September 2nd. Also Keri Herman may need a place to crash. We both have

money, and do not need our own rooms. We both have sleeping pads and

only need a little floor space.

I may know of some others who are looking for places if you want more people to split rent with.

We are willing to throw down for rent or whatever.

Its the southern hemisphere so it is winter there. Just like Argentina.

I hope NS finds you a place to crash man. If not I hear the kiwis are nice so maybe you can just find someone near the mountain who will let you crash with them. Good luck!
 
if your skiing at snow park, isnt there like a bar on the top floor with rooms for free, correct me if im wrong i just rember hearing that somewhere. buts its probably not true.
 
shouldnt be tooo hard to find a place. just go to the laundromat or grocery store and look on the bulletin boards, theres always heaps of people looking for flatmates this time of year
 
Yea they have the woolshed bunkrooms above the bar. Theyre not free, I think they are around $30 a night. Some times at the end of the season if there is noone staying up there they can give you rooms for $10 or so.
 
Thanks for the help guys. Yes NZ has great skiing for their winter, which has already started, I'll be skiing at Snowpark which is probably the crappiest mountain, but has the best park. Just one little lift and all park.

Yes, I have looked on all the boards and the weekly paper, shits real expensive and hard to find.
