I need a new pair of park sticks

I am looking for a new pair of skis. Last year I was on the edollo and I liked but not enough to get another pair. I like the idea of all around ski that’s good for everything park, groomers and all mountain. But it was just a little too stiff for my preference. I looked at those surface givers and the look sick so if anyone has any input on those that would be great but any other suggestions would be Awsome !

Have you been on the park vs standard version? Is it just the edge difference?

I had the mango 100 for a season and the edges didn’t hold up to the abuse. The Jeff is a touch stiffer and can do all mtn like the wildcat 101. Jeff is more versatile and also is minus 4 I believe in the 181 186 is 4.75

Ive loved my pair of givers, have mostly skied street and spring slush where they have been amazing! I have never tried the edollos but compared to my 2018 or 2019(?) bdogs they are stiffer for sure. Capable of doing butters aswell as hitting jumps, very fun i like many :)

Thanks for the feedback getting a pair of 2024 givers

To those recommending Jeff 100s, they are actually pretty stiff. The rocker makes them ski shorter and can be used to leverage them into butters, but the ski as a whole definitely has some meat on them

New Omen Team or Omen 90. Full new ski coming out this year from K2. Bulletproof like the Poacher but now in two different widths. Highly recommend.

Or the new Reckoner 102 that comes out soon as well. It's fully redesigned to remedy the quality issues that the first gen Reckoners had. A bit softer than the Omen but incorporates similar tech like the Omens to make the quality go waaaay up.

if you want soft get Vishnu’s or icelantics. Skied both and both are incredible soft and light, making them super fun. I also ski edollos and they’re not super stiff but definitely stiffer than those.

also skied various On3p models and if

you think edollos are too stiff you’ll hate them.

givers will feel similar to edollos if not stiffer

Agreed, edollos are very overrated. Too wide and too heavy to be a proper park ski. More like an all mountain ski.

line TW pro is probably one of the best all around park skis right now for rails and jumps. Very light and nimble which is what you want for park. Medium flex which is supportive for jumps but can still do butter tricks.

One of, if not the stiffest park ski I’ve ever clipped into

feel like they work the same as ON3Ps, not designed to be soft, but the early rise profile is conducive to butters if you know how to properly use your weight. Id rather have a ski that can flex when buttered properly than a noodle that bends with any amount of weight on the nose or tails

Icelantic Nomad

If you’re talking about the new Nomad line, I tried the Nomad 100 and found it slightly stiffer than my Vishnu Wide’s, but they’re just as playful.

Correct

I love how you’re giving a review on a ski that isn’t even released and you haven’t skied yet lol

In the nicest way I can possibly respond to this...

My day job is "Design Director of Skiing and Snowboarding for K2". My opinions and reviews may be bias but I have definitely skied on both of these skis that I recommended here.

Skis release in the next few weeks!
