Hey, I need a job this summer and so far i got nothing. Do any of you know of somewhere to work in the dead summer of summit county?

yea the forest service over here isn't hiring either, bummer. thought maybe they're hiring in summit county... hard time to find jobs right now in eagle county as well

mud season sucks when it comes to trying to find i job. :( Usually places start hiring in June again. So.. now! I managed to snag a job at Breck stables.

try one of the golf courses, but keep in mind its gonna be 10 times harder now then it would be in the winter.

that place looks way legit to work at. depending on what you do.

i gots a job cleaning windows a while ago. stoked to be employed and making money

There are some jobs to be had in Vail it seems - I've got two solid ones already but I've heard encouraging things about openings, now that we're into June as people said things should improve. Plus Vail is the place to be.

Just pull together a respectable resume and be persistent, it's really not that hard to rise above the ski town slackers many employers resign themselves to putting up with.

might be too late but there are a bunch of dude ranch/activity ranch type places around there that hire for shit. i got a couple of offers but i had some more important stuff going on out-of-state for the majority of the summer, so i bailed...basically they didnt look like greeeeeat jobs and i wasnt desperate cause i had already made up my mind to go home for a couple months, but they might still be around. i forgot what the places were called though, sorry!
but this is why you don't make the move out to CO until like august or a little later...all you guys who are holdovers from last season knew what you were getting into, just gotta ride it out.

There's jobs and most of us who didn't have one are year-round and know how hard it is to get something during mud season. That's why you save up some cash during the winter season, use that tax return on rent for June and just coast it out.
I was banking on my AV job I had last year but they didn't have the extra room in the budget for me, so, that kind of sucked.
