I need a house in February.

I need a house to live in starting in February.

If you know anyone that's going to have a room.... it would be quite lovely if you could let me know about it.

People say I am a fairly likeable person and I excel at living. I keep my crystal meth usage to a minimum, and enjoy things and/or stuff.

I would really really like my own room, but I understand if that's not going to happen.

My budget is like, 500-600. So, not too balling, but not like, 3rd country ghetto type deal.

I would also enjoy living with non-douchebags, if that's at all possible. Again, I'm fairly adaptable.

Please let me know if you guys hear about anything.... if not, I'm formally RSVPing Darina's bed right this second.

Thank you.

You can stay with me right after I find a house in January! But I might be a douchebag. Who judges that sort of thing?

PS I need a house in January.

yep i need a place for january too... if i can't find anything though laura we should go in on something for feb.

Oh thanks Chantal.

Simon: if I leave Vancouver it will be far from permanent.

haha sorry... I guess I didn't really read your post. Keep in mind that yesterday was my last day of university classes ever, and I wrote that after coming home from celebrating.

I think we should look for a reasonably priced 2 or even 3 bedroom for Jan. Laura can join us when she can. There are a couple in the pique that sound ok. My only specification is that I can't sign a 1 year lease because I have no idea what I'll be doing in 6, let alone 12 months. Although I guess we would only lose our deposit which is probably half of rent so that's not toooo bad.

Hmm well as far as I know, it only costs you your damage deposit, as long as you give a month's notice. I know that our place here in Calgary says that. It's specified in the lease though so I'll make sure to check carefully. Maybe it varies.

YES!

Goodness gracious that would be an enjoyable household!

Absolutely prime.

Close to Creekside would also be exceptionally wonderful, if at all possible.

Has anyone read the article in the pique of last week about the lack of space in Whistler? Apparently there is 400 people looking for a place right now that didnt get in the aussie closets, so good luck, there's competition.

Yes, but competing with me is sort of like competing with the Corleone family.

You know, if it were any other person saying such a thing, I'd probably write that statement off as being ridiculously unnecessarily cocky.. but well, it IS the truth and all... so..... JD's comment stands.

Oh, and all three of us equally kick ass, so the search for a house will not be as ridiculous as it would be for others. So don't even worry, young french one.

Yesss I can't wait! I'm sure that between the three of us we'll be able to find something decent. Right now all I can do is look at the Pique and the Question online and ask a lot of people if they've heard of anything. But once I'm home and actually in Whistler more often things will start to happen.

I will be looking for a place to live sometime in February to early March. If anyone has any information or will have an extra space in your place, PLEASE help me. PLEASE. Haha.

after a brief reflection on the negativity of my previous statement, i decided to offer a solution: i have a compartment underneath my kitchen counter that is approximately 150cm x 100cm x 100cm, pending removal of a dryer. yours for only 350 a month plus utilities! yay!!! 3 minute walk to the gondola! nice roomates, must be down with dat herb.

...in addition, if you end up displacing our dryer, you have to bring a

blow dryer and dry all of our garments when we see fit. i'm very firm

on this. now let the bidding war begin!

How about I just call up the premier and ask him really nicely to have all the Ontario people deported back to their native province. That would free up some space.

Note to British Columbians: don't push your luck. I may just have to rethink the whole "leaving in August" thing, and perhaps turn it into a "permanent residency" thing... so be nice.

haikus are sooo steep and cheap...

i hope somebody gets that reference. i could end up looking like a retard. and i hope none of you take that blatant opportunity and insult me, that would be predictable and lame.

i think i'm done now.

yeah I was staying a night at the UBC hostel, and except for the odd student it's all aussies looking for a place to crash... I'm looking for couch space next week by the way

if you don't like that offer, you should hear what the households full of aussies are demanding. decision time bro...

heres the deal... My roomate is most likely (definetly) moving out in a couple of weeks to go back home, coz he fucked his ACL and MCL, you know the story. so i would have a bed available in staff housing, but as there is a massive waiting list we would have to scam it, which would be easy.

room is sweet, we quite messy, but it is with two other girls aswell, so whatever, let me know.

I've got a spare bedroom in my place and two couches for designated ski bums that frequent ever so often. One of them is in saskatchewan for some reason, so I could probably offer short term residency... for sexual favors of course.

The spare bedroom is normally full of yummy racer skiis and assorted gear. Hurray spandex.

Sexual favors are my specialty.

I'll write you a limerick too if you want one.

No but seriously, let's talk. Let's make magic.

Same deal here, and I'm richer and cleaner than Laura, promise.

... I take it this means it's a no go on that Bayshores deal, then, huh.

What if in the ad I exaggerate my 1) being of female gender 2) innocence and 3)openmindedness, ....would that not catch the attention of at least a couple horny dirtbags with extra beds?

If this thread is any indication it would probably catch the attention of Darina.

How does one exaggerate one's gender?
