hello. i'm in burnaby from the month of march - and I am a poor ski bum... now the problem with being a poor ski bum in burnaby - is that the hill is far away and i can't afford to take the bus up to the north shore as much as i would like.

Is there anyone in the burnaby/new west (or even surrey - 'cause you're going threw burnaby) area with a car who's got an extra seat to go riding? I'm friendly - and been prone to give away beer very liberally.

would you like to be my friend?
 
I live on the North Shore and work in Burnaby so I could give ya a ride back to the shore evenings if you're looking to do some night skiing...
 
yea, but it's an extra 6.50 just to use the bus... that's a lot of money each time I wanna go skiing.

and you have to buy a ticket at grouse no matter what... i'm too poor for that too.
 
How do you even get around??

My suggestion would be a y2play and monthly 2 zone bus passes... If that's too much money I don't know what to tell you. Kind of a tough situation.
 
isn't that a carebear on you icon? They can walk on clouds, so just beam on up with them and scoot over to the mtns, no bus nor lift ticket needed.!
