whats up, im going to western oregon right now for school (monmoth :( ) and not a lot of people here shred, i just moved down from alaska so i have no idea where anything is besides hood, send me a pm if your down to shred, i do have a car although its not big but it gets the job done
 
Assuming you tour, and have all the avi equipment, I've heard good things about mammoth. Or you could always go to mhm and traverse to clarks canyon
 
Your not terribly far from Mt. Bachelor which is easily the best skiing in Oregon (in my opinion). Its definitely worth checking out if you have a long weekend or are prepared for a long day.
 
Bachelor doesn't have any backcountry though. Tam Mcarthur Rim in central Oregon is the best I've skied here. Also, the Wallowas in NE Oregon
 
Bachelor dosen't....GO across the street! Me and my friend skin up tumalo and expolre form there there is MILES of endless terrian drops and fun stuff.
